    I used one of those for a clog in the kitchen line. It was fifty feet to the alley. Stick it in, turned the water on and within a minute I could hear the clog break free!😂

      @@MRGS1.5 exactly man. This was a cast iron 3in line this is maintained pretty well so I really don’t worry to much here. But I’ve done a few places where the line will be cracked and I don’t feel confident useing it . Thanks for he comment

    I've used b4 dane thing exploded (from home depot)

      @@chris-ij4vc yeah that will happen if you don’t put a valve before the bladder to control the pressure. If you’re home prv valve isn’t working right or is set way to high and u turn the water on full blast they will definitely explode. They work great but you have to have the valve inline

    Install the like that, If it is plumbed properly, All your water will go right up the vent. No the balloon has to be installed beyond the vent, Or absolutely will not work.

      What …. The vent is for air flow. The line is a 3 in cast iron line that ties in to a 6in cast line 4 ft from the drain . We snake the line before we blow it out . Bro . Plz help me understand why anything would be going out a vent line almost 45 ft above grade .

    • @danmucklow431
      @danmucklow431 Před 8 měsíci

      You're absolutely right the vent is for air flow, However he placed his balloon rights keep for the trap, Which is before vent Therefore, no pressure would be from, and the access pressure would be pushed up the vent. It's plowing 101, If you don't understand.? Then you're not a plumber!

      @@danmucklow431 buddy . The vent is very far away. It is a deli . It has multiple drains and floor sinks . So In your theory the bladder will blow towards the blockage then hit the blockage and shoot up the vent . Even if that is the case which is not with commercial plumbing almost all the time . The head pressure from all that water going 45ft up a pipe would back flow and come out other drains . Which it will not because a bladder doesn’t have enough force to even do that . And this place the vent is above the mop sink on the opposite side of the deli . The connection to main is to the left and vent is to the right and 45ft straight up . I understand your trying to make a point but the argument was invalid from the start. Do you do plumbing boss? Water takes the path of lease resistance and plumbing and sloped down grade . The amount of force you would need to blow water out a vent which would flood the place thru lower drains before going anywhere near a vent would have to be pretty crazy .

    Where are you blow bagging to.. thats strange way never use it like that i always smash it in passed all tie in and let it have it.. your going to flood something like that

    • @drainjunkies
      @drainjunkies  Před 9 měsíci +1

      No … no iam not . Iam blowing in to 3inch trunk line that run 5ft then ties into a 6in main line . It is literally impossible to flood anything what are talking about lol and u see that valve above my bladder …it’s a shut off lol 😂 bro honestly what are you trying to tell me . It’s above the tile because of the valve . I can manipulate the pressure with out have to leave the line . And we snake before we use a bladder .
