@PremoMeztiso it is in fact have some truth in it..many outdoor court like in beaches or park have rim that are 3-4inches lower than the standard one..also sponsored dunk contest like from sprite or nike do intentionally lower their rim,the purpose is so that the dunkers can make their hardest dunks easier..some dunkers can make a crazy dunk on 10ft but struggle to do it consistently,maybe 1 in 3 tries..by lowering the rim,the chances of the dunk being successful on the first try goes up..nobody want to watch a person misses the same dunk 3-4 times

Never forget - before Reemix, athletes weren’t supposed to display this kind of sustained top level athleticism well into their 30s.
He banished age related limiting beliefs into oblivion.
How many athletes will expand their athletic journeys because of his example... the borders have been moved. You are not allowed to throw any age related excuses anymore.
I remember in 2012, that Nike+ dunk contest when he was around 30yrs old, I was in AWE. Now it’s 2019, and the man shows no signs of stopping whatsoever. Amazing.
Every summer that I would film Reemix, I always expected him to start losing some bounce because of how old he was getting, and he proved me wrong EVERY DAMN TIME!!!
But look at Air Up There though. Seems like he's been finished in his mid 30s.
VCthaGOATdunker That’s what happens when you don’t focus on taking care of your body properly like Reemix. Tbh most pro dunkers from the “golden age” are like that. Now you the top guys are 30 years old ie. Jclark, Guy, Staples, etc
@@IsaiahRivera1 Yeah guys like Tdub, Jusfly and many others ruined their joints in their 20s it seems. Before all of them though, there was Kadour Ziani who lasted very long and he used to stress the importance of stretching, he said he'd spend many hours a week just stretching and taking care of his body before and after dunking. Guy Dupuy must have learned from him during Slamnation though.
Some taking care of yourself will help but just like not everyone can run as fast as Usain Bolt or lift such heavy weight as Thor Hafthorn this is also good genetics - the fact he still gets his head up there. Vince Carter was certainly taking care of himself or LeBron, still they could not evade a decline. What I'm saying is this man here is one in a million - this is special.

Another crazy thing is he doesn't have disproportionately long arms like most dunkers which he could really use at his height. He really gets up there.
only thing i wish is that he would have done more dunk sessions. Almost everything on here is from a show or contest, where he had to focus on making the dunks instead of trying new stuff

Yes, Chris Staples is without a shadow of a doubt gifted with creativity, style & finesse but he doesn't jump nearly as high as Reemix. Staples creativity is next level but Reemix's vertical is just D A M N! Unparalleled. Beyond Comparison.

The speed, power and height at which he does every dunk, is out of this world. Yes some others can do what are technically the same dunks, but they are either taller, do it much slower, with less force and less leap time. Very few are actually comparable.

The dunk you see at 3:28 and several times throughout the video is literally a dunk I used to fantasize about doing 20 years ago, but of course, didn't have nowhere near the ability to do it. I swear in the next 10 years someone will dunk a 15' rim.

How high is Reemix’s vertical? Looks like a 60” to me haha. Very gifted guy, along with the hardwork.
Most definitely a legitimate 50-55 running max vertical leap. Not sure he can get up this high anymore @ age 39 but I'm sure he's still got at least a 45 inch vertical even today. However, he did just recently injure himself so he's in the middle of recovery. He started out with a 45 inch vertical in college @ Pacific University.
On a couple of those Dubble Ups, he probably could've done an extra tomahawk behind his head
