    James May made this Citroën Ami 8 famous when he picked it up at a classic car auction and took it rallying. So seeing as a friend of DriveTribe's now owns it, Mike Fernie and Tiff Needell took to the track to see what the soft, frighteningly underpowered Ami 8 could really do.

    I remember this car, how did they start it from inside? Seems impossible, they must have cut that part.

      The thing is it's impossible to roll an old Citroen, since the center of gravity is really low

    That Citröen was somehow not crank start, but regardless, I don't think James liked that car too much, partially because he was forced by the nature of the challenge to buy that at the auction, and partially because it was medieval, see the crank start.
