    It is great to see these students and their access to opportunities. On the NSW curriculum there is a recognition of the different educational needs of high-performing students -- acknowledged much more respectfully than the educational needs of Disabled students. As for how that acknowledgement carries over into the classroom, access to selective educational programs can depend on geography or means.

    Unfortunately giftedness is still seen as an "elite" quality.
