Maybe Dom is different in the other movies because his outlook on life changed after Brian gave him the second chance at the end of the first movie. One of the last bits of character development we get other than Brian going full native.
This is a fair point. Brian’s perspective changes and decides what the Torretos had was special, and in the same way Dom finally started to value what he lost I guess
Good point
I hate with a passion how overly masculine they are trying to make the character of Dom since FF4, in the first movie he was the chill but direct guy who controlled all the stuff with his team, now it's a one man army, saying family every 5 seconds with a serious and low tone and having some kind of hatred toward JDM cars even though his first car in the franchise was an RX-7, everything looks like a parody
It makes sense, he spent years away from Mia (+ John Cena), Jesse died, Leon nobody fucking knows and while he and Vince suppousedly have some form of contact Dom they were a fairly long plane ride apart.
And on his next chronological appearance Letty "dies"... enter "family man Toretto".
Except for the Danza Kuduro guys, those guys were disposable lol.
@@sevach Vince died at... more or less 3/4 into Fast Five. When the crew got caught by Hobbs. Also the two Latino characters are Leo & Santos
6:15 them hanging out with the Supra should have been left in because it provided some good backstory to Leon and to be honest on a hot summer day in LA this wouldn't be out of place as long you ignore the fact they look a 90s - 2000s boy band posing for a photo shoot LOL
You use "Light Mode" for your Explorer?! You monster!
The drivers license scene was so good, I don’t think It would’ve added anything to the story line so it’s a good choice it wasn’t in the movie but I’m glad i could watch it.
Seems like the scene where Hector is being cagey about how he knows Tran blew up the Eclipse is meant to give more reason for Brian to be suspicious of him, prompting the break-in later.
when dom crashed into the truck at the end of this movie, he hit his head hard and went into a coma.. the rest of the franchise with him is just dom's imagination and dreams in his sleep.. the reason everything being so absurd and extra
That’s actually tragic 😂
@@TheRacingJoker yeah could almost feel sorry for him 😂
I kinda like that better. Doesn’t explain 2fast but I still dig it.
@@Beer-can_full_of_toes or Tokyo drift
@@soarin64 he was in tokyo drift at the end
2:49 She was patching up Dom due to getting shot by one of Braga's men. You could tell she enjoyed it a little.
Yay my memory didn’t fail me completely. Different director but it can’t be a coincidence
She even used her medical knowledge later in the first movie, after Vince was shot.
honestly that scene where they're talking about their first time driving seems genuine. like even Dom at the and that's how he talks in real life
I definitely agree that scene could’ve stayed in
Most of the car parts that the camera pans over was “s**t outta my garage”, to quote Craig Lieberman. That would explain how random they are
Ah yes, now I remember you’re right
Craig Lieberman actually had a video where he laughs about there being doubles of parts on the table, as well as stuff that's not for a 2jz. I think he said there was some 350 SBC parts in there, even.
Camshaft for SBC
Wasn’t the radiator for a truck or something? It’s a little fuzzy for me
I saw an intake plenum for a 3000GT. Missing the throttle body
Watching this movie with all deleted scenes included would be thoroughly enjoyable. Doesn’t matter how pointless so many of these are…love it
As someone who was a teenager with a coupe as his first car, if you are in the moment, you make it work. 😂
Being over 6ft with single cab 70's truck at the time, I agree with this 😂😂😂
Considering Han supposedly painted his RX7 orange because Dom was working on an Orange Camaro ss in furious 6, anything is possible in these damn films lol
The director did say as much as he enjoyed filming this scene with guys chilling out talking about there experiences getting a licence etc that it severely slowed the pacing down and grinded it to a halt for the movie at that point when chan was being arrested and o'connor being involved in the busts.
I think he said the same thing about the original version of the cha cha cha date scene
@@TheRacingJoker exactly it just slowed the pace of the down.
@@The_Knight_Rider1980 yea it felt more like a scene you would see in a series not a movie
I’m pretty sure Craig said some of the parts on the garage floor were even from one of his old mustangs … I could be wrong but I think it was just a hodge podge of whatever they could get
These are great observations, but I have to interject, the line in the garage where dom is talking about nothing mattering, you said that wasn't in line with his character because the rest of the franchise he's focused on family. Well, he's focused on family in the first film too, and that line is defintely in line with his character. He was explaining that how, for that short time on the track, he can let go of all of his responsibilities, and for that brief time he can escape, and nothing else matters. not family, friends, mortgage, business, illegal heists, nothing matters. Because its his short time to himself where he can hit the reset button and let go of all of the stuff he spends the rest of his time obsessing over. Makes perfect sense, too, because the more you care about something, the more you need an occasional break from it.
That’s a pretty good take, kinda like sitting in the car whilst parked in the driveway for 15 minutes to decompress before going inside
They really should have brought Leon back he had one of coolest cars in the film and dom is right up until you drive is like one life time, then when you drive it’s completely different.
i think he had some issues with universal and has said online a few times he never wants to return :(
Definitely there was some drama in 1 that was never brought up again in the same way, 3 tried but it was too superficial, 1 develops a huge ammount of interesting topics:
Dom and his demons about he never overcame his father's death, how Brian understand's life isn't black or white and how Dom had a clear motivation to assault Kenny, Brian blowing up his cover and betraying people who embraced him and loved him sacrificing that "life" to save someone he disliked, how groups change member's personalities for the benefit of the group, they were all common people with common issues who liked cars, Brian coming from a tough early life himself resonated to them... everything after 1 minus 3 is a joke, there's no drama, there are no issues, they joke even in the hardest of situations.
Even the soundtrack, that piano tune that sounds when Dom shows Brian the Charger, all the soundtrack for the next 8 films is action ost mixed with party songs, you can't take that seriously.
I liked the fourth,
well, at least at first.
@@Xayuap its the last one i liked as well, it was the last one centered in cars
@@Kyush4 is there really a last one?
@@Xayuap that i liked?
@@Kyush4 hahaha
I love this channel when it comes to the amount of knowledge you have about filmed locations from the movie and the logic
Keep it up TRJ
Yeah I’ve gotten deep into what there is to know about these early films over the last few years
@@uzqf2107 boi, I have Craig’s personal phone number and have worked on numerous videos in the past with him. I made some of my fast and furious videos before he made his (e.g. 2 fast 2 furious skyline sound)). I’ve even interviewed him and Sean Morris. The only thing that needs criticism for lacking originality is your comment
yeah! finally been waiting for a new upload!
10:25
It's a 4-door Integra, so yes it has! 😁
Even the coupe got plenty of space
I love this channel. Haven't checked out the non-FF stuff yet but I suspect its just as good. SUBSCRIBED!
Bro if you could bring this in to light I think it was a weird coincidence that Paul Walker died exactly how Vin Diesel basically Dominic toretto's father dies in the movie
Dom got shot in the back, left shoulder in F4.
Oh yeah that’s right, he had a terminator moment where it shrugged it off
Hey man! Great video! I think you should explore the other Folders ASwell! Would love to see more!
Sure! I’ll have to do a poll at some point to pick one
This whole car parts and chatting scene looks so "Real World", no punchlines or valuable commentary
The Dom clones cracked me up , family family family family 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
In the shirtless scene, where you say "i don't know what that is" i do believe that is an Intake Plenum from a 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4.
It might be removed because they switched to the Supra, or something but i agree that the scene was a little bit off. Shirts on would have been great in the film.
CONGRATS ON 50K SUBS😆🔥🔥💪🙏🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thanks man !
I owned the 2dr integra i can confirm it does have enough space for that type of activities, the front seats recline to basically flat.
Tbh I was waiting for this
Are there any more of this delleted scene ? This is dope.. good stuff 🖒
yup, you can search for them in vudu channel here in youtube
The shot where all the parts are laid out, Craig Leiberman stated that all of that was just random parts and to the average viewer they wouldnt catch it but to the grease monkey's theyd def catch it.
Since you mentioned the car parts in the shop, you should look for the Miata bumper on top of the f150 in the famous shot with all the cars rolling down the street. That actually made it into the movie lol
20 years and I never noticed that
I'm new to the channel but this is pretty good content bro keep it up.
I’m all for welcoming new blood to the team!
09:20 Car guys/gall sitting on top of hood with yeans on! Worst nightmare for the paint... It's not how you stand by your car, it's how you sit on top of it?
It’s how you procreate on it
Craig lieberman said on his channel that the parts they laid out were from his garage and there was 2 or 3 exhaust manifolds and other doubles and such.
Makes sense lol
If someone were to grab this scene 6:15 and put some atmospheric music behind it, I could see it being kinda beautiful
This was awesome. Thank you so much for this. Feels like watching the movie for a first time but not really 😂
Nice! Hard to relive that first experience but nostalgia is good too!
Two headers for twin turbos the thing on the left is the intake and I think that's the downpipe in the front muffler is a muffler
Absolutely make your own edit for the last race
Dude if you make your own edit of the final race that would be awesome, would probably make for some good comedic material too.
Where there is a will there is a way... I had a 98 200sx ser. I'm almost 6ft tall, so was the girl at the time...We managed to round the bases...Just recline the shotgun seat back all the way..
those most wanted intro transitions tho ❤️
That Donut Media clip though 👌👌👌 lol
Yo the end had me dying 😭😭😭😭😭🫡
Man that movie is a classic I watch it all year around especially on Christmas
“Why not? You own this beach bitch”😭😭I died
Does anyone know where to find the extended version (Including deleted scenes) for the 1st and 2nd movie?
Nice video you got 👌
The bit with them talking on the car looks like an outtake from a backstreet boys vid
The driver's license lifetimes quote was so good though
Hey man, could you maybe link the folder with all the movie stuff in it? My gf and me want to watch it later we are big fans of fast and furious and I want to experience it first hand with her. !
Definitely have a go at your own edit of the final race. I also thought it’d be cool to have some of the scenes added to the original but there wasn’t much there that could work without being choppy..lol
Your right about the mía part with fast 4
Appreciate it lol very educational
Wouldn’t be surprised if Vin Diesel was the reason these scenes got cut out. He probably murdered the editors who tried to put those scenes in the final cut, then did a “family” ritual”.
A believable theory
The ford lighting parts scene there was a Miata bumper on the truck lol
Nice video!
Keep it up!
Thanks!
@@TheRacingJoker You're welcome!
10:08 Lol!!! "Why not? You own this beach B!+@#!!" Cracks me up every time.
The second “ exhaust manifold” was actually a throttle body
Holyshit that Mia part would be cool to know, atleast we do now thanks to for showing Racing J
i feel they could have included the precursor to the floppy disk scene without the "take a piss line" and they could've included the driver license scene also if they did a few different retakes, changed the dialogue a bit, i dont see why not
There's also a deleted scene of John Cena in this movie, but no one could see him
I always wondered what happened to Leon 😔 he was my favorite
I doubt we’ll ever find out
It looks like there's a Twin Turbo manifold and a single turbo manifold for space filling or vice versa
That Brian and Mia scene was hilarious 😂
New vídeo hell yeah!
what's up joker u make these video's funny
morimoto's 350z has a Top Secret Super G-Force body kit
do the final race edit
This guy looks like one of the muscle car drivers in 2fast2furious
This is so cool how did you get all these?
Pulled them from my dvd
im laughing at your beats headphones
Lol I had to mug my wife for some headphones
"Why not, you own this beach bitch" lmaooooo
The part were Brian and Mia got on her hood hurt my soul. What car people sit on their hood…. mind you, with sand all over their shoes/feet, just gouging that sht. That hood is fck’d 😑
I mean my first car had a… comfortable hood but it’s important to only leave prints not dents
I would really like to see these scenes clipped together
I literally died from laughter on the Honda civics vs semi video. I’m asking the same thing. How!?
Time to buy an integra 🤣🤣
the laughs.
How was all this on your pc? Was it brought from an OG dvd or..? I would love to check the files out for myself
I pulled it off of my original DVD, one of the deleted scenes was an extra I downloaded from CZcams though)
Ah right, thanks! :D
Also do i need a specific dvd drive to get the clips or are they the same situation with the wallpapers and screensaver?
could you share the link (mp4) with all the cut scenes?@@TheRacingJoker
Does anyone remember the trailer for a fast and furious game on the DVD for 2 fast 2 furious?
That is Craig Liebermans parts from what he had in his garage. V8 cams you can see in there. He own the supra, skyline from fast 2 and vince's blue maxima :)
Craig is an O.G. I haven’t chatted with him in a while
@@TheRacingJoker watch his youtube, he explains everything there about everything
@@aksionpc I know who he is, we’ve worked on several videos together. I interviewed him not too long ago
In regards to the first deleted scene; if I remember correctly, they weren't originally planning on making this movie a franchise series. So I'm guessing adding that kind of depth at the time didn't seem necessary.
Is there a version of this movie with the deleted scenes?
I wish man that’s a great question
Lieberman said a long time ago the parts were just thrown on the floor just to have a cool shot. Some of those belonged to a Ford he owned at the time. It's something studios do when the 'real' number a script calls for looks underwhelming and they fill the frame up with random stuff to compensate. For instance _28 Days Later_ had a high rise rooftop filled with baskets to catch water. Only a hundred looked inadequate so crew went and got many many more to fill the empty spaces.
Directors and DPs can always frame the shot a lot tighter but what do I know, I only went to college for 7 years to learn video production. =Þ
Yeah but for 28 days later the rooftop scene really shows how desperate the situation is especially since they even use laundry baskets showing that even a little bit of water would be a huge help
You should do an edit of the final scene that is actually 10-11 seconds instead of however bloated it is in the movie
The make out scene transcript had me dying of laughter. I don’t know what the writers were thinking there.
To be fair, writing romance stuff is awkward af
Please review the 2 fast 2 furious prelude. It's gold🤣
It’s coming 🤫
The Brian overacting is very fitting for stereotypical undercover cop. Remember how Tim Roth/Mr Orange was taught how to sell a story in Reservoir Dogs? It remind me alot of that, overly detailed and long.
But then, what’s with Dom? Lol
@@TheRacingJoker Well just might have been the direction. And since it was more lighthearted and not dramatic like Cursed Charger scene Vin cheesed it a bit 😅
The shirtless scene could've been written more as a commentary on the first time the actors drove, I can see why they cut it as it is. Stagnant, and slows the pacing, which isn't the point of the film.
Wasn't Leon in the 4th movie when Dom almost crushed his head with an engine block?
No
i came up with my own theory on that, that guy is actually Jesse,if you look at the outfit he's wearing..the beanie, the vest..the tattoo on his shoulder, the way he acts in the scene,it's Jesse even tho they never acknowledged it was him
Just to get off topic a bit but did anyone ever know that Letty is an undercover agent by about the fourth movie it’s either a deleted scene or an alternate scene. It’s never been mentioned after that.
I thought she was more of a C.I.
''A Honda Integra has room for this?'' You better believe it because I shit you not I did it in a Geo Metro before and that was surprisingly do-able.
Bruh I’m either not flexible or I’m too picky about being able to change positions
Some of those parts came from a Fox body Mustang Cause Craig Lieberman said in one of his videos that mostly all those parts were from his Fox body Mustang
The front seats of a Honda Integra can be flipped like in every other car so why wouldn't there be room for..activities?
Mia probably passed her exams in the 5 years between the first F & F and the second F & F (4th one)
10:32 Former DC2 owner, yes even the 2 door had enough room
So far I’m learning half my audience is full of liars or really flexible short people 😂 goddang
@@TheRacingJoker They're actually rather spacey. There's more room than an average bathtub in there, so you do what you gotta do my man
They found Leon in the 4th movie lol
Can you do a video on the need for speed movie Shelby mustang
There's certain songs on the soundtrack CD that didn't appear in the movie.
I guess those songs were supposed to be in some of the deleted scenes.
That’s a good theory actually, that would make sense
@@TheRacingJoker Yes.
One example would be R. Kelly's song "Take My Time Tonight".
I guess that song was supposed to appear in the night - beach scene featuring Mia and Brian.
