Honestly you inspire me so much. I’m an aspiring UX Designer and I’m going through a tough time right now, but you just have this bubbly personality and I feel like everything’s going to work out. Thank you for posting this kind of content and thank you for being you! ❤️

I can't believe that I watched this whole video while taking tons of notes. Your project is fun and motivate me to do more research and solve real life problems. I literally laugh when I see your goofy words like"our small and mighty team, time to huddle!" Lol. Thank you for sharing. You deserve what your got after working so hard on this 3 months of project.

Thanks for this video !! It is so insightful ! I already interviewed at a few compagnies, but do you think I can change my portfolio adjusting it to your critiques and you process here ?
Could you do a video on what to do on your first day of work, please ? Like how to find the best way to success and being appreciated as a professional, event if you are a junior ? Things to implement the first days, or things to say or do maybe :)

I’m senior product designer & I Like your personality but I couldn’t make I through the video because I found there was too much fluff and it took you too long to get to the point. Given that you’re a UX designer maybe work on your story telling for your videos because the amount of unnecessary blah blah became a pain point. Also Squarespace is the worst platform to use for a portfolio & I also made a huge mistake in using them. Their support is awful and they are very limited in what design freedom they offer and their platform is full of bugs. I’ve been doing UX/UI/ID for almost a decade and trust me don’t use Squarespace for you portfolio!

Hi! Do you have any recommendations for other portfolio hosting platforms?

    • @statusquoreject

@@sleepycat5427 webflow offers much more freedom than Squarespace and is way less buggy with better support. You can also actually design your portfolio right from programs like Figma, prototyper, framer, etc. & publish them on the web. I would suggest going with any of those over Squarespace. They have a bigger learning curve than Sqaurespace but trust me it’s worth it. As you develop your portfolio and want to change things and make it more unique you’ll find Squarespace is in credibly limiting and frustrating and basically putting design handcuffs on you. Best of luck!

@@statusquoreject Thank you so much! I'm actually entering the beginning stages of creating my portfolio and was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I will definitely look into webflow as an available option. I love having creative freedom though, so building it from scratch then publishing it is the method I'll most likely take.

I am also a senior UX designer and I disagree with your point about Greta's video having too much fluff. She got to the points she needed to make for *junior* designers - to you, those points may be irrelevant, seeing as you are not a junior. She even left time stamp links in the description, so there's really no excuse for your blaming her about your own oversight. I think she went through all the necessary details, and frankly, she nailed it. Good job @Greta Luna Priego!

@@noyam good for you. You have your opinion and I have mine. I also didn’t “blame” her for anything, I simply gave some feedback and that what’s being a designer is about. Stop being such a simp & a snowflake lol. It’s pathetic. An entire 2.5 min could be cut out this video and the content/underlying message would be the same. I could literally list out the fluff and give time stamps where certain things could be omitted. The art of good story telling is to communicate effectively by saying the least. Given your response I highly doubt you are senior ux designer. Feedback is not “blaming…” You’ll never be an effective designer until you understand the difference.
