Watching your videos I got the FR36 when it came out, because of the performances. Then I realized that I've never raced coupes in 10 years of this game.
i have raced coupes several times, but only because i knew other racers
FR36 was a top pick for drift racing before the performance nerf. I've raced randos in coupes here and there, it used to be a super low barrier to entry before the Previon.
People cry if the host picks anything but the top 4 classes. I enjoy the tears.
In a world where 4 door saloon cars are in the coupe class.
Keep up the fantastic work, The Zion would be interesting with a HSW upgrade.
It's kind of funny how top speed is so unimportant for racing, only worth including for a bit of extra information about the distribution across tracks, but a lot of people watching these are far more interested in top speed than anything else. Because they're watching to choose what car to buy for gameplay outside of races. They might never play races at all! Whenever you can route yourself to take a longer straighter path or a twisty short one, and never need to make a hairpin, top speed is the most important element and everything else is secondary. There's a whole section of the audience for these videos that are completely disconnected from the purpose of it, watch it in an entirely different way, and draw nearly opposite conclusions from the testing. But the testing, and the video, still delivers exactly what they're looking for. They're really happy with it. That's fun, isn't it?
The Jackal was my first car in gta online back in 20something and I will always have a soft spot for it.
I even created a racing version of it a few years ago (along with the Bullet, Bobcat and Sadler)
I've lost those renders and files since due to harddrive failure, but I'm thinking about remodelling and recreating them.
I'd love to have a Jackal Custom (again as well as custom versions of the other 3 vehicles I mentioned)

The FR36 was quite a shocker that it’s number one in spite of the HSW Sentinel, but it’s a pleasant one. Shame though, I want to race with the FR36; I have it made for drift racing instead. Oh well, maybe here and there I may go back and forth with it for grip and drift.
Just buy another and upgrade it, no drift kit.

I was surprised to see this video released today and not next Thursday but seeing how small the Coupes class is compared to the rest, it kinda makes sense but my main surprise was that the HSW Sentinel XS wasn't at the top of the class (but it can still compete with the Previon and FR36). After seeing that though, it further makes the point that the HSW upgrades really should have been added only to older cars to bring them up and be on par with S Tier cars (like the Stirling GT being competitive in both Sports and Sports Classics races) instead of being added to newer cars placed in the B Tier and making them dominant in the S Tier but it still feels nice to see that not all HSW cars are at the top of the class (evidenced by the Entity MT being the only HSW car not even reaching the B Tier).

I wish rockstar would move some of the sports cars into the coupes class and add a new class called classic sedans
technically 4-door coupes exist, as do 2-door sedans. but most of the picks for what 4-doors went into the coupes class don't even make sense
