- Hello guys, in this video, I am explaining how you can connect your Home Theater System to your TV. This video is helpful even your TV and Home Theater are not compatible with each other like Samsung smart TV, which doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack or AV out port, and Sony DAV TZ-145 Home Theater System, which doesn't have HDMI ARC or Bluetooth.

Hi Sir, I have a Moto Tv with optical audio output and a Sony Bravia 5.1 Home theatre( bit older). It has only RCA L/R input and One 3.5 mm Audio IN jack. My question: is there a way to hear a 5.1 CH with this setup, using any converter? Or of whether the converter converts to L/R or a 3.5mm jack, the sound will only remain STEREO and the Dobly DTS (which both TV and home theater support) will be lost?

Thank you for the video. As you mentioned that when it is connected to Set Top box, we can hear only content of set top box, that is my current connection, but if I want to hear the voice in home theater played via amazon firestick or any hdmi through laptop, how can I configure it, along with set top box default connection (sony home theater is same as what you have mentioned in the video)
Dear Rajesh, You can try 3rd method explained in the video. Or you can use an android box that comes with a 3.5mm audio out port (If your TV is not android already or you don't mind spending extra). However, all possible methods are explained in the video.

I want to connect my 5.1 creative computer speakers to vu premium Android tv 43 inch, 2 speakers are connected through aux cable but how to coonect others 2 speakers
While using DAC for optical out, tv remote have no control on sound. I have to use the speaker remote to change the volume. Speaker is zebronics 4.1 and tv one plus u1s 55 inch.

Maine f&d ka 3000X(5.1) liya tha, usme bluetooth and aux se sirf 2 speakers mein se full sound aati thi, rest 3 mein se bhot km nearly 20% of first 2 speakers.

My TV has HDMI ARC and audio out can only be set through this for external home theatre. My HTS is an old Sony DAV TZ215 which doesnt't have ARC support. It has got only L/R Stereo out and an HDMI port. I would like to use this 5.1 speaker as my ecternal audio out put with 5.1 channel seperation. What connector whould I use? Pls advice.

Dear Amish, Chances are high that your Soundbar has Aux-in port(3.5mm jack). If yes, you can use 3.5mm to RCA cable. If not use Bluetooth receiver in TV.
