In this video we’re going over the top 5 BEST Neighborhoods to live in on the Westside of Los Angeles!
So when looking at the West side, were going with everything West of the 405, and southern most part is LAX and everything west of that, not including Malibu because that should get an entire video on it’s own.
Also these are all strictly my opinion as a Native Angelino and real estate agent who has spent lots of times in all of these cities so lets just get started!
    But here we go
    - Number 5 we are going with the biggest and most well known city on this list first and that is Santa Monica.
    - Santa Monica is a great place to hang out on the weekends, go to the beach with lots of people, enjoy shopping and dining on 3rd street promenade, walk the pier. But to specifically live in, I’m going to have it as number 5 on the list.
    - Main street in Santa Monica is another row of bars and restaurants that you might find yourself enjoying the weekends at, this side south of the pier known as Ocean Park, is more of the “local side” to Santa Monica. It’s right between Venice as well and when living here there are several smaller duplexes and triplexes with small yards that you could find to feel like a cozy neighborhood in a nice home.
    - Number 4 on this list is Mar Vista
    - Mar Vista is a residential neighborhood inland of Santa Monica and Vince but still a short drive or bike ride to the beach
    - Several newer construction homes are being built in the areas, in the 3-4 million range making it one of the least expensive areas to live in on the westside.
    - If you’re more of an introvert that likes a slow paced lifestyle, wants to save money, but still raise a family in a nice neighborhood near the beach, then mar vista might be for you!
Number 3 on the list is Marina Del Rey
    - Marina Del Rey has the worlds largest manmade harbor and can hold up to 5300 boats at any time
    - Marina Del Rey is also known for it’s harbor, several yacht clubs, nice waterfront restaurants, and large condo towers and apartment complexes
    - You get a good mix of young and old people as well because of the boat life but you’re still walking distance to Venice.
    - You’re also super close to LAX airport just about a 10 minute drive south, so if you need to travel a lot for business but like the luxurious vibes of being near the water, Marina del rey might just have it all for you
Number 2 on the list is Brentwood
    - Brentwood is on the Northern half of the westside, just west of the 405
    - Brentwood has several markets such as the country mart with a variety of small shops and places to eat
    - One of my favorite coffee shops is in Brentwood that I’ve done some work at from time to time and that is Literati CafĂ©. This is because it’s a massive cafĂ© with free wifi and a nice ambiance with their outdoor area
    - Ive found it to be a great place to have meetings without being too far away from anything.
    - There’s also a dog park off barrington that on any given day you’ll see dozens of dogs runnings around, I’ve been many times actually.
    - More celebrities live in brentwood than any other city on this list because of one the privacy, two being right next to the 405 freeway, and three still being about a 15 minute drive to Beverly hills or west Hollywood.
    Timestamps:
