Clean cut I like it !! but I will say Edge up prep would help the edge up better without using the pencil. I would cut the front down clean the surface of the front line with hot lather and towel then an astringent and then follow up with a light lining spritz let it dry or blow dryer and it will leave a nice clean line without pencil.

Man I literally did this technique yesterday but I wanna give flowers to @KriispyKing b/c I saw him do this about a month ago and that .5 guard closed with the grain is the same length as a #1closed against the grain…this technique has been a gamechanger and made things so much easier when it comes to debulking for a hairstyles like this…dope video fam!!!
