I’d say so. The gold one is the new one from Babyliss, the benefit of that one is the interchangeable batteries. So you have extra batteries charging separate. Which some people love. The pink one sits on a charging stand, which some people prefer.

I’m a big fan of the old school andis double magnetic, if you have the master blade. I’m a big fan of wahl premiums, and I’m also a fan of the new tight guards gamma made. I hated gammas old dubs, but these cut great because the half guard actually cuts tight like a half is supposed to.

So currently, wahl premiums. But for .5, 1, and 1.5, I use the gamma tight guards. Only cuz they’re magnetic. Basically the same guard

Hahahaha man, tbh they told me to not use the 8.5 inch shears… so I went and got the 8.5’s 😂😂 my thought was efficiency, I can cover crazy ground with one snip. I have a few different go to combs, but I try to teach myself I don’t need hella different combs to do the job, do it all with one clipper, one trimmer, one comb, one shear, just efficiency.
