- Back behind the wheel in Train Sim World 4 and I'm running the speedy Azuma from Doncaster down to somewhere south of Doncaster. During this epic journey I'll be chasing another service for extra drama. Crikey.

I quite enjoyed that. Now I want you to take a Bullet train up the Khyber Pass...
This is my unimpressed face. I have many like it.
Now that would make you walk funny.
@@colonelfailure Can we compromise with taking a 3km coal train pulled by a Big Boy up the Col du Grand Colombier?...
😂 You're my new friend
I literally did laugh out loud when you referred to the train ahead as "our opponent". 😂
The great thing about trains is. No flipping bandits. The colonel is quite capable of detailing the train himself without some barbarian sneak attack.
Long Live The Whistle and Captain's announcements. Bonus points for the WH Smith references.
I laughed too hard at "Welcome aboard the...train!"
Yes the Colonel's back on the trains... what could possibly go wrong 😂
Great episode as always . A big diesel freight train down the steepest track
Woo Hoo!
The Colonel is back on track ... again!😉😍
Yeah like no one ever thought of making that comment before.😂
Nothing more relaxing than a train ride with Colonel.
(slosh slosh)
Flying Scotsman Arosa line downhill
Quality stuff as always. We have missed the announcements immensely.
Great video Colonel!
Next time:
Take a 1938 stock along the IOW 2022
Would be nice to see a 101 on any route tbh or a gronk would be nice to see that enjoyed the video all through out nice to see a return to tsw content
Hey Sam, I enjoyed that 😃
Here is my suggestion -
We now have a free-roam mode in TSW...
Take a British Class 101 ( Yes, that manual gear monstrosity ). Uncouple one of the driving cars, and delete the rest of 'em...
Use it to shunt some unfitted mineral wagons ( White ones from Sprit of Steam ) on a gradient.
Fantastic rant today Col, big reason these videos are so beloved!
Do a steamer, don't care which one. Just don't blow it up like the derail valley one, doubt it would be as much fun to blow up as the derail valley one was.
"Comestible Vestibule" absolutely killed me and henceforth I will only refer to the dining car as such
Oh yes! 'Best train driver in the world, ever' is let loose in a different train.
Just take something... and drive it a bit.
Love it.
Winner.
"Let's get un-hinged again..." No change there, then. Top stuff!
I quite enjoyed that!
A Montezuma and NO working toilets! 😯🥵🤣
re: a TSW4 service, how about revisiting one of my old favourites, Oakville Subdivision eh? Just to see how that runs on TSW4, and doing some thrilling Autorack shunting? The Y935 Oakville Yard Switching at 14:35 takes about 40 mins and involves a bit of too-ing and fro-ing, switching, shunting, pointsing, zero spadding.
😀👍
Flying Scotsman. Bound to be full of errors and hilarity.
Great punch Chewy!
Nice.
Failure is not an option.
It's a must 😎
You should do whatever will make the hardcore train guys the most angry, you know, the ones you were pontificating about at the end, ha!
That's... anything.
ooo is that a Class 52 'Western' diesel hydrolic I spotted. How about one of those. Don't mind which route
You were... "just testing the red light works" 👍
I quite enjoyed that. Drive anything in BR blue.
Well, the doors were locked so couldn't get out! Steam train "to just see if you can make it explode again" would be fun. Bristol to Bath route? Passes close by my house 😊
Thank you Tim
@@GretchenDawntreader haha, only on Saturday's lady! 😘
I have MISSED the Captain Annoucements! LOLOLOL.
I visited London last month and took LNER to Scotland in a train just like this one! It was a pleasant ride. Friendly passengers talked to us tourists on the train as well!
I thoroughly enjoyed this 😂
2:50
SPAD
Signal
Passes
At
Danger
Thats now a tea and buiscuits with the OM now colonel
You can use ctrl + enter and shift + enter to turn on all safety systems in any train!
I would really really like to see "how fast can I get down . That was brilliant, I'd love that!
I have a scheme brewing.
@@colonelfailure Epic!! Can't wait!
That was enjoyable. This is me registering that I enjoyed it. I felt some degree of terror for your passengers as you wandering down the train as it roared down the track at 125 mph. But that's just the way this railway rolls.
I’m an ambulance. Excellent 😂😂
I really enjoyed the video, you should take an F7 (with the Santa Fe livery) on the Antelope Valley line
Finally a flipping train video after ages! Thanks Colonel!
Awesome Sam epic to see the Col failure humour
You know what? I quite enjoyed that.
BR 51 in West Cornwall
Only docked 3542 points for speeding?!? By my calculations, Col Failure had 7898 points of speeding to spare...smash that throttle!
I quite enjoyed that.
I quite enjoyed that 👍
Well, I quite enjoyed that.
Conan the SD40 Sprint
CROSSOVER BONUS POINTS!
Hah, this is what I was going to suggest. SD40-2 on some American line
Your train announcements are great. LNER take note
12:55 'I do beg your pardon, had beans for breakfast'. They must have been quality beans.... or was that what you meant previously, with everything going 'south'...? 13:15 Also, for snacks... avoid the beans.
You know what I quite enjoyed that
Had a feeling...
Hi Colonel! Hope you don't mind some constructive criticism. At 17:31 you turn back the throttle on the engine to "save a bit of petrol", but the train you're driving uses electricity. It made the premise of the video a little harder to believe as a result. Otherwise, great video! It's nice to see you in a train and making the train move.
That genuinely made me laugh. Excellent work.
Awe, look what i found :) Trains by the Boss
Finally some fun and relaxing train gameplay whit Colonel i have miss that.
Well if i had known you was in donny comandeering a train i would have put the kettle on 😂
Those station structures are, at least in finnish environment, for protecting station from snow plowes to wreck havoc during winter. I guess there could be some maintenance vehicles going in british station as well.
Good knowledge.
I quite enjoyed that
I'm expecting Train Sim World 5 very soon and 6 in the New Year
And yet are planning to make a fuss anyway when what you predict comes true?
@@colonelfailure That would depend on whether declining to purchase or support would constitute a fuss?
Another great Train Sim video, colonel. I have really missed the TSW vids.
I'd love to see you drive the Class 66 on the ECML.
your face is the Khyber Pass.
I quite enjoyed that :-)
I immensely enjoyed that!
Good, quite enjoyed it. Tick the box.
I quite enjoyed this
Call it intuition on my part.
Did I enjoy that? Quite. oh...I was kind of hoping for the Amtrak Acela going really fast around the living room. :(
Very funny commentary again and true re train passengers (cough being a train-not-car-erer as no car I might sometimes travel with one of them big holidayer rucksacks sorry cough)
Loved the announcements. Don't worry the opposition won't be keeping us from getting there on time, I have a plan, you might not want to look out the window too much.
Good camera work especially the Colonel Cam.
Plus the train version of tailgating.
Skittish Failrail Driver: He can't possibly have passed the next one already! The opposition aka That Joker aka That Clown: Set speed to ALL OF IT, Colonel fast approaching on our tail. Also had a weird 'are we in the matrix' moment like our trains glitched together, maybe just The Enemy's speed or my too many station newsagents coffees.
Speaking of which shouldn't you lot sat there be at work at VuvuBoys chucking out the next Montezoomer or reviving Boot Manager or ripping off that rival bestseller Coffee Tycoon?
Also walks through train: Hi, I'm your driver, we'll be well on time, I'm being 'flexible' with the speed limits, don't worry I'm keeping my eye on the road. Except when I'm not like now.
Why won't they let me in the seat? Hmmm...
An Underground run could be fun for some grim realism and good commentary or a 158 as I used to be a trolley 'freshments seller on 'em so you can bring back some old work memories busman's holiday style (but with trains) with your best 'would you like some coffee from a suspiciously flaky mobile urn for a bargain £17.50? Biscuits? That'll be another £7.'
I enjoyed it very much 😂🎉
You know what I quite enjoyed? The time trial drag race series.
Now, I'm not saying you should repeat it. Of course not, but it was quite enjoyable.
I want to see you drive the flying scotsman.. since you did so well with the locos in Derail
Unlike Derail Valley where it rains every 10 minutes.
Can you do Boston-Chicago-LA? That'd be a fun 3 days.
Not in this game.
Spot on commentary about modern day train travel. Great announcement too. How about driving The Flying Scotsman?
I'd like a ride on a Flying Scotsman. Sounds like fun to me. :)
Route is yours to choose.
Great show, I'd like to see the Flying Scotsman going though its paces in Germany in the Reisa Dresden route please.
26:20 looked like there was also some metro’s to fill in this shelter - one with pink rack.
Long ago I was that teenager in the doorway (trying to pretend I meant to get this train). But I wasn't the cow who filled up the racks with enough luggage to start a branch of BHS and scowled at you as you tried to rearrange it all.
This was painful but brilliant to watch!! More please?
I know perfect stops make people uneasy. I could give lessons.
HST on the IOW line, pls. (The IOW is used to mainland castoffs.)
Are there any new tube lines?
Edit- I posted this before the bit where you showed your Fleet of trains. Anyting commuter rail is good for me.
Can you do Horseshoe Curve with the SD40-2😁
Nevermind, you don't have that one. New one, Clinchfield with the EMD F7.
im a train driver..... start of this video has annoyed me no end! dont know how ive been watching for 7 minutes!!
Time flies while you're having fun.
If you're after a serious train channel for serious train videos, they exist. This channel is the other kind.
Colonel Failure is back in the train and I love it
Hey Colonel... I quite enjoyed that!
Well, colour me surprised.
I took a train from Chicago to Winterpark, Colorado several times. Heck of a trip.... I'm assuming that's out. Beyond that, do whatever, I'm good.
😮 Sam is back on train sim yaay 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
So, you were in the area (well, more in the area than you being in East Anglia) and you couldn't come see me in Cleethorpes! Why I oughta....
Take the bullet train up the khyber pass
Do you have a spare not amused face
I have one here. You can borrow it.
Train: SD40-2 (UP livery if you can select it)
Awesome comedy! Forgot wondering if you bought cows.
Even for a Frenchman, the bean joke makes me laugh as heck...
It wasn't my finest work.
Flying Scotsman, somewhere in the US - recreating her american tour.
I think people have been playing the new game with the classic hud.
you know, i quite enjoyed it 😛
great video since you wanted it heres the suggestion: do the train race again on the isle of wight BR187 DB vs BR182 MRCE you asked for it
14:51 I know. I would like to have a tinkle whilst I’m pretending to drive. 🚽🚽
Loving the video! How about the 143 on Reisa Dresden?
You know, I quite enjoyed that. Now how about the Super Sprinter somewhere up in the north?
i wanna hear a diesel train don't care were it goes just wanna hear a engine roar when you give it the go button
It looked like there was sydney metro? That next pls?
Please drive a Pacer on London-Faversham High Speed... Because reasons.
spirit of steam, do a freight train from Liverpool to Crewe. using the Flying Scotsman.
Route: Sherman Hill
I’m a minute in and I prefer it already
