    Amazing. How utterly and wonderfully overwhelming it is to keep discovering how the New Testament completely supports the Old... And how the Incarnation is the answer to the past, present life and the future. Thanks so much for this!!

    Thank you sooooo much again, Father! I learned a lot again about Theology, Biblical truths, connections and pronouncements about the future. As I grow in knowing and understanding, the more I grow in love and faith for the one and only Church and for Jesus Christ & His mother. God bless always!

    I wonder why they don't teach kids in US schools about the actual painting by Rafael which is The Transfiguration of Christ. That painting is So sensitive and amazing. Everybody should learn about it. Also why don't they teach kids about the Requiem by Mozart or the Cantatas by Bach? All of those genius works are made for the Christian church. But I don't see it taught in schools.

    I would say that Moses and Elijah are the Two Witnesses of Revelation, because for them to be true witnesses, and not just prophets, they would have to give testimony of Christ being the Son of God, like spoken at the Transfiguration. I believe that Moses was 'translated' to the Transfiguration while he was atop Mt. Sinai, which is why he descended glowing like described during the Transfiguration. Before his death, while on Mt. Nebo, he was then 'taken' again to the future to be witness to the death, burial, and Resurrection of Christ, along with Elijah. This is why Christ cries out to Elijah while on the cross. Moses and Elijah are then 'taken' to the End Days to become the Witnesses for 42 months, where they are killed, rise again to life and are taken up. After this, Moses body would be buried in the valley in the land of Moab. This is why Jude tells us of Satan contending with Michael the Archangel for the body of Moses.

    September 32 AD was a season of climax. Every year the Atonement had to be performed on the 10th day of the 7th Jewish month (of the year beginning in March). Only the High Priest could make the Atonement, entering the Holy of Holies. For members of the separated community, who had their own high priests for their own alternate sanctuary, the question of who would officiate was always a question of which party was in power. Since the earthquake in 31BC, the buildings at Mird had been developed as the community's highest sanctuary, it's 'holy ground'. (According to the Essenes, the earthquake had rendered Qumran unclean). It was here that Simon Magus, as the current Pope performed the Atonement in 32AD. The Herodian mission had developed an additional rite. It signified to Diaspora Jews that they also were receiving forgiveness of sins at the same time as Palestinian Jews. Three further ministers acted in a different location, representing the Diaspora. At the moment the Atonement was completed, 3pm, they declared themselves as witnesses, bringing the good news of forgiveness to all members. From them, the news was understood as spreading to the whole world. In the actual cities of the Diaspora, their counterparts were performing the same rite. The 3 bore the titles 'MOSES', 'ELIJAH' and 'CHRIST' which were names for a triarchy of Prophet, Priest and King. In 32AD 'MOSES' was Theudas, the head of Ephraim, 'ELIJAH' was a title now borne by Jonathon Annas, & 'CHRIST' was the Davidic king in his highest role. The function of Jesus on this day was to stand with the other 2, on their west, symbolically declaring to Western members that their sins were forgiven. Before the earthquake this Diaspora rite had taken place at Mird, which was then thought of as subordinate to Qumran. But after the earthquake the roles of the 2 places were reversed, & Qumran now less clean, stood for all lower classes including the Diaspora. During the day, a Friday, Jesus was present at Qumran, taking part in a reproduction of the ceremony. The room used for it was what had been the vestry, on the western side of the complex. Part of it was covered by a half roof reached by a flight of steps. On this raised platform, seen by a congregation sitting below, the 3 men were to appear, Annas in the center. At 3pm the Atonement was completed. The 3 men, as subordinates of the High Priest were to make their pronouncements. At this point Jesus acted in a way for which he could never be forgiven. Jesus came onto the platform in the vestments of the High Priest, the holiest garments of all. In the words of the Gospels, he 'underwent a metamorphosis '. His garments (vestments) 'became dazzling white, such as no fuller on earth could whiten them'. The High Priest's multiple robes were 'whiter than white '. (The fuller was the man who rubbed them with frankincense to whiten the linen.) Jesus moved to the center of the platform, displacing Annas and there acted not simply as a priest of a lower rank, but as the High Priest himself. His actions said that not only could the Christ become the Pope and Pontifex Maximus, but that the place where he stood was the sanctuary. The Diaspora was as holy as the Holy Land. Neither the Jewish priesthood nor the Jewish homeland were necessary. Jesus even used the words of the Zadokite Baptist, who had said in one of his Psalms that his teaching was the water of life, fertilizing those baptised by him. On the Last Day, the Great Day of the feast, Jesus stood & cried: "If anyone thirst, let him come to me and drink. He who believes in me, as the writing said, out of his inner parts will flow rivers of living water". Later that evening, Simon Magus himself arrived acting as a Pope who also visited his outlying territories. Simon appeared in person on the platform, using the Baptist's title the 'VOICE', announcing: "This is my Beloved Son, hear him'. The words meant that Jesus had again been reduced to the position of King, he had been firmly put back in his place.

    Staying close to G+d is greater than staying close to the Church. Transfiguration is possible for the believers in ascension meditation techniques from carbon life to the life of true light.

      But we are talking not about a concept God, who is malleable to each mind, but about the only absolute Truth and Reality, who incarnated as Jesus from Virgin Mary to save those who desire not to spend their eternity in Hell, the right justice for our preference to devils since the days of Adam and Eve.

      Yes, but that presupposes and obvious at the level of this sermon. Ideally, every catholic must be able to justify every works of God in terms of their Faith, and if necessary using scriptures to ward off those who create new religions using the Bible.

    You will notice that in Revelations the 2 witnesses are doing things that Jesus, Moses, Elias and John the baptist did. Jesus tells Peter that Elias has come in the form of John the baptist and the old testament refers to the future Jesus as a new Moses. The 2 witnesses are Jesus and John the Baptist. I believe that Enoch and Elias ascended body and soul into heaven. Just like Mary and Joseph.

      Unlike many who create their preferred gods using Bible, Catholic theologians explain every works of God (be it in Bible or not) using Bible because they have Faith in the true God and they very well know that arrangements of alphabets by itself do not convey anything.

    Destroys dr scott Hahn that the ark of the covenant is Mary.

    • @lewiselie-martineaux
      @lewiselie-martineaux Před rokem

      I think that If we listen well, we will see clearer the comparison which Dr Scott Hahn made. The comparison is in reference to the full dwelling of Almighty God among his people. In a greater sense Mary as the New Ark of the New and everlasting Covenant, is more glorious a dwelling because she is the living Handmaid of God himself and not something God instructed men to build. The fullness of grace and truth as from the dawn at the first creation of humanity, and the salvific work of God according to his perfect will and promise of redemption in the Genesis account after the fall, was at work and present in Mary. In Mary God keeps the whole of his love and work in humanity present and before him.The Ark of the Vovenant contained certain sacred memorabalia of the Hebrew people as they journeyed and experienced God's saving work and presence into the promised land. Looking at what the priest explains here thus, supports Dr Scott Hahn's allusion to Mary the Ark of the Covenant who remained in full union with her Son, his life, passion, death,resurrection, ascension, reign and his body the Church in the Holy Spirit, continuing his saving work to the ends of the earth and yes, time. In the great sense, Mary is the witness of God's full saving work including all Christ has done and continues to do in and through his Body the Church. Lastly It follows thus, seeing Mary as the New Ark is to profoundly behold, the living human temple of God, as we are and the whole human race is called to be, as from the very beginning by God. ...The conclusion staying close to Mary is wise counsel for the body of Christ on pilgrimage to our true promised home...🙏

      @@lewiselie-martineaux it proves what apostle Paul wrote Jesus in was the fulfillment of the whole Jewish tanakh. Jesus himself gave more glory to his heavenly father, than to his mother. In the Jewish scripture God does not have a mother like many pagan beliefs , were their God Had a cohort or goddess next to him. The gospel of John chapter 1 : 1-3 confirms same, the logos that was with God was male Jesus, not a goddess.

      @lewiselie-martineaux Před rokem

      @@frederickanderson1860 Sir again you have now missed the understanding of what is now my attempt to explain and clear up something you commented on. Listen well on simpler words. In Christ the human body became the temple of the one true living God. By knowing and believing Jesus Christ all who are then born of water and the Holy Spirit become one with Christ. The living temple where God dwells. In the New Covenant the people of God becomes the living stones making up the house where God dwells. This is what Dr Scott Hahn alluded to on referencing the Ark of the Old Covenant. If this helps, great. If not, I suggest you contact Dr Hahn and allow him to assist you. It will not he helpful to anyone to add and infer anything to what the Dr of Theology said or meant in the reference to him which you made in the first place. God Bless and guide you.
