I'm 61 yr old this is my first time listen to this I started to cry because I remember my mother and father talk to me at the age of 4 yr old because by the color of my skin I couldn't go to certain places it hurt at the time because I was to small to understand I be crying but my mother would hold me and let me know it going to be alright now I look back and think about all the sacrifice and blood and tireless that they went through to right was wrong so that my children and grandchildren can enjoy the finest thing in life became doctor, lawyer, teacher, pastor, even President and Vice President. Ran into a Homeless gentlemen today, who stays in a make shift tent city located on what used to be Funtown, he stated he has been living there for 27 yrs. no running water no electricity, he mentioned that the area was known as Funtown asked me to look it up, im 49 yrs old. native of Ga/atlanta never heard of it til today. Strange how an area that Black people couldnt even attend now is occupied by Blacks. and no one bothers them. Thanks for the HIStory lesson Mr. Joe GODBLESS.....

It’s sad that in 2020 we still have to have these types of conversations with our children. It’s painful to have to explain to your child that there are small-minded people in the world who don’t think we‘re good enough simply because we’re black. It’s plain exhausting. 🤦🏽‍♀️

This is WOW so moving. My God!!!! The fact that Dr. King was humble to admit, he had answered the questions and faced the problem of racism all over the country, but he was speechless when it came up in his own home. But thank God for giving him the words to tell his daughter the truth and to encourage her that she is just as good as the kids that go to "Fun Town". This touched me so profoundly especially as we are in 2022.

In reality the only one who is in charge of you is you. I choose to love dispite of one's color of their skin. When the skin is pulled back we are all a like underneath, we all have to stand before a just God. In heaven and hell the color of your skin, your position in life, your status in life doesn't mean anything, are you born again, because accepting Jesus Christ into your life and living a life pleasing to Almighty God is what shall get you into heaven. Heaven and Hell is Real, and no person who heart is filled with hate for anyone will make it in, they shall lift up their eyes in hell. And even hell shall be thrown into the Lake of Fire with satan and his demons for all eternity. Pray for this nation and for people everywhere regardless of their nationality and where they're are in life, God can change and deliver them from their sinful lives and lifestyle. God bless

Devotee (5): In the case of Christians, some of them worship Jesus Christ.
Prabhupāda: That is bhakti-yoga, because they accept God. Unless you accept God there is no question of bhakti-yoga. So Christian religion is also Vaiṣṇavism, because they accept God. Maybe in the..., some stage different from this. There are different stages of God realization also. The Christian religion says, "God is great. Accept." That is very good.
But just how great God is, that you can understand from Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. But there is acceptance that God is great. That is therefore..., that is beginning of bhakti-yoga. You can apply there bhakti-yoga. Even the Muhammadan religion, that is also bhakti-yoga. Any religion where God is the target, that is..., that can be applied in bhakti. But when there is no God, or impersonalism, there is no question of bhakti-yoga.
As ML K spent 5 weeks in India, touring, speaking, and getting to know Gandhi, shouldn't Americans know this little known fact? Why don't we understand the struggle we face as a struggle between the atheist and the theist? It is time to recognise that abolishing God from our country will never bring peace, and the Lord is not the exclusive Father of any particular group of theists, or belonging to any certain belief system, whether Hindu, Christian, Jewish, Baptist, Muslim or Buddhist.
Rev. James Lawson said: "Our country is a country trapped, embedded, and addicted to the mythology of violence."
He also traveled to India, and was friends with MLK.

It doesn't protect them, it causes more damage and hurt when your not upfront about things that they need to see and know. I believe most people think kids are ignorant so they treat them as if they aren't capable or "slower" but that's wrong guidance. MLK was strong, he knew he had to inform them. This speech is pretty. I mean, it really hurts to take down Dr. King's words in this case, because it touches something that goes past racism. It talks about the crushing reality and obligation of parents to help their kids realize their dreams. So I want to know this, what are we going to do right now? This isn't about colour, and it never should have been. This is about the development of a system where some people go some places and some people go others. What are we going to do about this? Because I don't want my children to grow up bitter.
