Because I do lawncare, I KNOW HOW HARD THIS IS! Mowing and maintaining a lawn - or number of lawns - is one thing. But what you're doing is on a deeper level, and requires extraordinary energy. My respect for every yard you finish!

He probably has heavy-duty equipment that makes the work much easier than it would be with a cheap mower. But yes, he definitely works hard, especially all that shoveling by hand I see him do.
Any municipality or corporate entity that confiscates or forecloses on a property should be required to maintain it. It is shameful what has happened to that property and also the effects on the neighbors. 😡

It depends on what kind of grass/weeds you have growing in the property.
I think that my grass has some wild grass or weeds mixed in because it grow so tall in 2 weeks. I tried doing no mow May but had to cut it down before end of May.

But what I really love is your generosity, helping those especially the elderly, who are unable to get outside and do the work anymore. My father took such pride in his lawn and garden, he passed at 82 year's old. But as soon as spring was here he would get out and start his yard. Hey, I watched the full video again just last night!! Such good stuff in this one job. Cried again over the rescued kitty, especially after knowing what happened next! (I’m a regular monthly donor for Edgar and Ivy’s cat rescue now 💕) And that sweet lady who walks to church, can now walk easier without risk of falling.

Because with a property tax foreclosure, it would be owned by the county (or possibly the city or state), not a bank.

Thats sad, she couldnt pay her taxes so the city kicked her out, now she is homeless and the house sits empty and still no one is paying the taxes....sad world we live in.
actually the taxes get purchased by tax lien investors. When the house sells the tax lien holders get paid first plus interest. Taxes are still getting paid.
Better than what used to happen. They would throw them in poor house which was just a prison for being poor.

It's strange to see these taxed properties foreclosures from overseas.
Yeah makes you wonder why they don’t turn over to collection company like every government debt not related to land. Simply it’s a way to steal land. It’s as if we pay them to upkeep their land in exchange for pretending it belongs to us. Property tax another back door corrupt government scheme.

The best part of these videos is that I’m sure they’re furthering his career on CZcams and in his actual business. Which is so awesome that blue collar guys are always finding a way to be relevant. A great way to revolutionize a work field like lawn care. Just awesome man. When I was a kid, my dad was a lawn care business owner and it’s unfortunate how often this is left out of the conversation often amongst people who aren’t involved in blue collar work, it’s obviously apart of the conversation. Wow! That was a serious transformation. I am very surprised at how well that your mower chops the grass.
Yes, there is a lot of clippings, but they are cut up so that they cab break down very quickly and feed the lawn. I have gone back over cuttings from tall grass a couple of days later and they virtually disappear.

Your shorts videos are good but I have to say I prefer your regular videos. It gives you a chance to really see the amount of work that you’re doing.
There are so many in-video cards and links at the end of every video that you can’t even see the before and after. I don’t know why I stick around to the end anymore.
If you're using the CZcams app on Android phone (may work for iPhone), you can just drag the video down slightly and the cards and links will disappear. I've been doing that for all the videos.

I absolutely love what you do! I’ve seen a few of your shorts on CZcams over the last couple of years, and I finally decided start watching some of your videos to get the full story on some of the stories. And I am so impressed with you, and I admire what you do. I have one question, though. as a non-professional, clearly I don’t know the ins and outs of lawn maintenance. But my question is why do you leaf blow so many times? Because it looks like you would edge and then blow. Then you would weed eat and then blow. And then you would mow and then blow. is it for a strategic reason or is it to take a bit of a break from doing the heavy physical stuff… I’m just curious. Because as an outsider, it looks like it’s kind of using up some valuable time. Anyway, please keep up the good work, and I wish you luck with everything you do! 💙💙💙

Then, how do we pay for school systems and city services? Taxes are necessary 'evils'.
@@JayYoung-ro3vu there are other tax systems they could use the fair tax and flat tax both do not require property taxes to sustain a society! not to mention the federal and state government pays for the majority of the school systems. Property taxes pay for county systems like garbage fire and ambulance but the flat tax and fair tax would eliminate all that and the services still get paid.
@Crusader1984 Perhaps? We pay privately for our trash collection both in county and in the city. Cities got out of the trash business quite a while ago here. Liabilities and tipping fees were primary concerns expressed. We were losing tax base and population.

There are ways for people to own land and still pay taxes but yet nobody ever wants to try that route because the system we have just works perfectly. Not!!
I agree. Imagine spending all your money into your home, finally bought it, and still have to pay to have it there and for it to be yours, even though its yours already. Very disturbing. Even dying and getting buried costs money. 😢 why not just charge us all for breathing taxes 😂

Damn shame, you can pay your house off, but if you can't keep up with the property taxes, they just snatch it away. 20 or 30 years to pay off a mortgage for nothing. This is how many of the elderly black people in DC lost their homes over the last 10 years. My sister and I had to start paying the taxes on our childhood for 5 years until our parents qualified for a senior homestead reduction. because the property is in a heavy, gentrified area in DC. My parents bought the home in 1986 for 55,000 and now the property is worth about a million because of the zip code/area. Ridiculous!!! This country needs a complete overhaul on property taxes, especially for seniors and those who fall on hard times. It's so unfair.

I’m not sure what city or state you are in, but it looks like some back water town In Arkansas or Oklahoma, where I grew up in. Because, we had mailboxes in our front yard. Plus, your dump fees must be high and you do an outstanding job. Thanks for making the country cleaner!
