Bridgehead has A LOT more military equipment than Hell's gate (It is a city designed to house for 2 million). Even in Avatar 2, we are introduced to the seawasp gunship plus 3 or more C21 dragons are spotted on the airfield in one shot that lasted a few seconds. Plus, they have a much larger 3D printing facility that can print basically anything the garrison at hell's Gate who have dreamed of making (In one of the concept arts, they printed the entire sea dragon, on site!) with who knows how many amp suits and skell suit soldiers are garrisoned at the city. Jake Sully at the end of the movie (SPOILER ALERT) is determined to stand and fight the RDA instead of trying to run away. The prep and the subsequent battle is going to be amazing.

The RDA makes it technology different to its government, but they own a lot of corporations to make guns, weapons, and vehicles for their private military company
Because the RDA is using older tech, iirc they aren't allowed a whole bunch of things bc PMC's would become too powerful. Hence they are using (relative to their military) pretty old technology. Actual militaries in that movie would use weapons orders of magnitude more powerful and terrifiying than these ones.
And you know what's even better? The fact that the RDA is just security guards, and that actual nations in this movie have even MORE powerful weapons. The RDA is limited in what they can have i.e no nukes tanks etc and must resort to these already crazy military tech.

I just noticed that those helicopters aren't all the same. Some of them have cockpit design similar to an Apache while others have cockpit similar to a black hawk
The double one is a transport rotorcraft (Samson, inspired by the famous Hue which you better know as rhe vietnam war heli) and the other is the gunship (Scorpion, inspired by the Soviet Mi 24)
How does humanity lose this? Like honestly how do you lose against tree people who manipulate you by using their tail to inject chemicals or whatever it is into whatever they put it in.
mainly because of jake bombing the 2 big aircrafts on top and Eywa sending loads of ikrans and those armored rhinoes to help. people tend to forget that the navi almost got completely massacred.
I'd say don't mess with humans, if they wanted to they could literally incinerate the planet (using ISV exhaust) or blow the entire planet up (smashing an ISV going 70% lightspeed into the planet). They were just a tiny bit annoyed, but if the Na'vi and Eywa REALLY got in the way expect the last avatar movie to be 5 minutes of incinerating everything or a minute of an ISV smashing into the whole damn planet. Pandora stands no chance.

Humanity would never destroy Pandora unless the Na'vi became capable of space travel and therefore became a threat to Earth. Also, the RDA had plans to build settlements on Pandora due to the poor conditions of Earth, they can't settle on a wrecked planet now can they?
Thats a lost for RDA mate, they can no longer mine without more money poured into it and whatever future plans are spoiled with more money poured into protection measures

I think what makes people's love RDA tech is how closely similar it is to today's current technology and its practicality.
