Im 50 in october , from being 10 , ive loved mr shaking stevens , i used to know all the words , i had a fall in jan , ended up in i.c.u with double pneumonia ,i woke and found my legs were paralyzed , i have no memory of all that happened , ive been learning to walk again with shakin stevens music , ive got 25% memory loss , so im learning to walk and learning the lyrics , this man and his music was and is legendary , i think we all need an up lift in these awful times , come on mr stevens release a song for your true fans xx

I truly hope your doing OK and made a full recovery. I've also loved shaky from a young age I eventually got to see him a couple of years ago twice I took my daughter with me the first time then went with a friend he was amazing. My daughter is deaf and the loop system was broken so we got permission to stand next to the stage near the speakers so she could hear it we were so valise we could have touched him !! he knew why we were there and he faced her most of the night so she could lip read hes truly a amazing guy for doing that for her 😀
My favorite song of Shakin besides Cry just a little bit. I love his style . Always white shoes and everything else. I used to listen to him constantly when I was 7,8 and 9. Other artists didn't exist. My favourite singer. There never will be another like him. So handsome he was , had the moves, I cannot believe he is 73 today and I am 42. Time flies so quickly. Was and still am a massive fan of 80's music. Found shaky's music then drifted of to other 80's tunes but always did and continue to come back to Shaky's music as it seems to have staying power that most other music does't!
Me too, I just found him about two months ago, he came across on CZcams and clicked on it and got hooked. I live in The United States and never heard of him and Elvis was our guy but if Shakin had come here he would have been up there with the King. Wow, he is so hot and complete package. Why were we left out, shakin?? Also he is my age and we are both in our seventies now.
