Keeping Christs commands is not about keeping the old covenant law. Its about receiving grace by the spirit which gives life. Biblical Christianity So who has "the truth?" What is biblical? Doesn't every church claim to be " the only one?" Is it according to the Catholic church? And till this day people have placed this upon an Islamic leader( the Reformers were against this interpretation), a US President or President of the State Israel.

SDA is false, it clings to the law keeping. Keeping Christs commands is not about keeping the old covenant law. Its about receiving grace by the spirit which gives life.
The law did not bring life it brought condemnation because no one can keep it.

Written Law in stone means it can not be altered. The only law written in stone are the 10 commandments by God Himself. The Sabbath was fulfilled and pointed to Christ as we rest in Him Matthew 11:27-28, Col 2:16-17. So, the first day of the week is when the Church gathers and meets up (Acts 20:7) as a type of rest but not as strict, this is because of Christ's resurrection, since it's the day He rose from the dead Matthew 28:1, John 20:1.

As for who is the beast, I have two opinions either Nero (or possibly another Roman emperor) or the Papacy.
Nero historically has been seen as a possible contender for the beast, he was the first Roman emperor to persecute Christians. We see in Revelation 1:4 that John was the one writing to the seven churches in Asia, so the audience was the church who needed to be comforted from the current and on coming persecution.
The Papacy is another one was held popular among the Reformers, who I study their writings and read, my theology is very similar to Reformation theology, with believing the 5 solas and predestination.
So, Nero maybe the beast, but the papacy can be a type which reoccurs throughout history.
