They had restored and renovated a large historical home with a very large porch. Carol, thank you for inviting us into your gardens. You have an interesting life complete with exotic travels. My own brilliant gardner Grandmother lived in a place nearly 50 years and honed it to a similar perfection in that time. The gate to enter my Granny's garden was magical, as is Carol's gate! Oh my goodness. seeing you two standing in front of the house captured my heart immediately!!!! This style of brick homes with the arches and pitched roof lines is my dream home! That front window with the diamond panes is stunning! I have been in my home 52 years this year. Unfortunately it is not as charming as hers. LInda, don't even tease me about touring the inside!!! I am going to hold you to this one! Leaded glass windows , the arched door, the front stairs which mimic the lines of the door, are pure fairy tale magic! The back yard is the perfect serene sanctuary. Can you imagine morning coffee and then dining al fresco in the afternoon. Living the good life. Thank you so much Carol!

Serendipity! Fantastic garden! Thanks near the end of the video,looking at ground covers,she mentioned some ground cover that she referred to as ground Ivy. That it only has 1â roots,and pulls easily. We refer to the name of creeping Charlie! Very Very invasive,and we as gardeners in the North,pull it at every turn. Will take over grass,and all flower beds.

So many influences I can see! The brickwork/stone, the stairs, the layering habit with foliage that you had in the previous house and are beginning to develop at the new house. AND the slate color choice on the house trim!

Yes, this garden is enchanting! Thank you for sharing it. On a side note, spf fabric is usually a physical barrier to UV because of the actual fabric qualities such as tightness of weave and opacity vs having a coating or something applied to it. The more you know⊠đ

Gorgeous oasis! Love these tours. Please also include the nature and layout of the irrigation systems in these tours. Also, please talk about what the owners do to maintain these gardens. They appear to just grow without human intervention and care, but that canât be the case. Iâm inspired to duplicate these ideas, but I need to be realistic when anticipating the effort needed to maintain the plants and the look.
