You are right: the Spruce top has a wonderful charme, very nice trebles, balanced on all strings and in all registers and rich in tone colour. It is definitly worth trying out a spruce guitar like this from A. Müller. I understand why Antonius Müller wants more customers for spruce tops. Great basses but not the trebles.

strange! The trebles are the highlights for me on this guitar! Not everything transfers through recording, unfortunately. Sometimes afterwards you think "if only I placed the mic slightly differently to show this one quality.."
