One of the rising stars of the genre right now is the Sorcerer Supreme played by Sherlock and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug actor Benedict Cumberbatch. He has played the character perfectly and made him into a household name. The character has actually been a huge part of Marvel comics for decades. These have included zombie versions, duck versions, boar versions, bad tv versions and versions based on really really bad puns and nothing else. All of them are magic but some are much more magic than others.

Since Wanda can break Thanos’s sword which was able to break cap’s vibranium shield Scarlet witch would probably be stronger, she could win at the end with the power of the mind stone and chaos magic she is OP but Doctor Strange is also a master of the magic arts so Doctor Strange could hold his own for a while

It would make big game changers for the heroes and she is more powerful than when she was a villian with Ultron since she has mastered her chaos magic now so the fights would be intense

There’s a theory I heard somewhere that Strange Supreme might actually become the MCU’s version of Mephisto. And it sort of makes sense, if you consider it.

For number 2 Bruce Banner does actually have a comic book counter part as the sorcerer supreme in earth-11638. Which appeared in Incredible Hulk annual 1 in 2011 but also dies in that annual.

Dr. Strange, is one of the most powerful characters in the MCU. I hope than in his next movie, with or without The Avengers, they stop humiliating him and show us his awesome powers. And give him a worthy ending.
