This is the best format I've seen for breaking down a verb or concept in Spanish. From the examples with the captions below to the pictures/slides with more examples, I think this video was highly effective.
I'll try to find others like it on the channel and may even use it as a format to study other verbs in Spanish.
These are, without a doubt, the best Spanish lessons on CZcams so far. The combination of Spanish text with English translation and detailed explanation, is indispensable.

El verbo "haber" es uno de los más difíciles de aprender para el hispano parlante. Suele confundirse su uso y conjugación incorrecta con el verbo auxiliar "haber". Incluso la letra "h" en ocasiones es omitida por error.

I super like how you speak, even if I am a beginer I am understanding what you are saying because you speak spanish slowly. How is a storm a 1 time thing? Storms can last hours just like traffic, please explain this example using hubo instead of habia?
Hi John. Even though a big storm can last hours it's still something that doesn't happen every day normally. So we use it as a one time thing for this example. Traffic is more an every day type of thing. I hope this helps!
You can use both but the meaning changes so you need to add context to be correctly understood.

I'm very confused of what "lo que" means everytime its used.
If the word "what" shows up in a sentence anywhere other than the first word of the sentence you can use "lo que" instead of "qué".

I also have been watching other videos on other Spanish learning channels with Spanish teachers from Spain. I find it better to understand for beginners. If you start here, be aware that Latin/ South American Spanish has a different pronounciation ( it's easier for Spanish learners though ). Therefore I just keep it in mind, when I go to Spain...
Still the speech is clear and I am thrilled with the way you explain things. Finally, I instantly understood not only the difference between hay, había and hubo, but also how to use the 2 different past tenses. Wow! thanks!
