I kind of embarrassed myself last month. Called myself rebuilding a Genesis chrome GX7 29 with the 42 spoke wheels. So I didn't want to spend $$ on brakes or cables. Took it to my local Champian cyclry and let them do it. $78 bucks later, ride her home. Broke out the 72cc and put it on. Realized ALL the old parts that remained on this bike, (as it had a 38cc 4 stroke) were done for. Clutch cable housing with kinks as you described, rusty throttle.
I did add a 7 speed/brake shifter for convenience and looks, (hint hint people) and your simple tie strap crossing will clean it all up Eugene. Thanks again and seasons greetings

I put the dio reed kit on my yd100 and it took me a little bit to get used to the throttle because you have to turn it more because of the bigger pwk carb. Plus its on my spare bike and I don't ride it near as much

I don't ride this one much either. I run my 66cc PK80 more

Guys, I have a dilemma, I need you to help me find out if the PWK 24 mm MotoForce Racing V2 Carburetor is suitable for my 80cc motorcycle, please give me an expert answer, thank you

Too big for a simple engine. If your engine is not balanced, extensively ported and has a reed and a proper expansion chamber then it would be a waste. The stock carb once properly jetted is all you need. The carb is only a part of the equation. Everything must be matched. If the engine is unbalanced it will not get to the higher rpms. If the intake is only 19mm then any carb over 19mm is not going to help.

Sure, I understand, so in that case I'll put 21mm there and that type of carburetor will be fine with that engine?

@@miroslavfiric5993 OK. A larger intake, proper porting, jetting and expansion chamber then balancing are needed to get any improvements where a bigger carb will help. A properly jetted stock carb will work as well as any bigger carb on most engines is my point. If your engine doesn't have those a bigger carb is a waste
