Great to see MG making affordable, good looking cars. Shame the battery wasn't a little bigger and plugin, but I'm sure it will be still be a good buy.
Agreed, even if it was home charging only, would be nice to give the option. Hopefully they add a bigger battery in and give buyers the choice eventually
MG3 Battery is 2.3 times bigger than the one in my hybrid which means longer drives in fully electric.Well done MG.Very impressive spec for price.Hopefully see more full hybrid models in the future from MG.A lot of people have no interest in full electric cars.
We've got the MG 4 if you had said 2 years ago your next car would be an MG id of said jog on but its brilliant value for money drives well comfy does everything we need it to do My mum has the Yaris and is waiting for this to arrive to test drive and will probably swap. MG currently giving great vfm and the cars are well equipped and drive well.
Yes, it's a full hybrid. More electric, more of the time, compared to competitors like the Yaris Hybrid. Test drives should be available at our dealerships by the end of April.
That they’ve found it perfectly acceptable to sell the old MG3 with a truly dreadful engine for over a decade doesn’t bode well for confidence MG actually give a sh*t what customers think.
@@stevebeever2442 you’re an insecure little guy aren’t you? You cry some more about consumers wanting and increasingly getting more choice beyond mediocre ICE vehicles.

@@Clove_Parma Just a point 44% of homes Can not charge a car at home.
Sorry bit confused . Thought there is a plug in HS
@@ellisrochlin2267 Not in the UK. The battery is only 1.83Kwh anyway.

Think the 1.5 needs a decent refine , from the raucous lump they are using in the hs and other models
great video, hope it has good pcp deals.
Interesting new Peugeot 308 from MG.
Why don’t they just put a nice 1.2 turbo petrol engine in it ?
They can get better performance, and lower emissions, by making it Hybrid instead of Turbo charging a 1.2. So why would they want to make it worse?

Is this a full hybrid model and when can we expect test drives to be available?
