I love John Taylor's book In the Pleasure Groove and read it several times I especially loved the way he shared his most intimate feelings and thoughts about Love and death and Duran-Duran.
It takes years before anyone can become a successful interviewer ,,especially these day's.. The problem with younger television host' s they haven't researched certain "Protocol's" on the proper way to approach their subject.. Some people have a knack for this stuff and other's certainly don't..??,,!!
Well he must be used to gals acting that way. They can't help it. She's said multiple times he was her first celeb crush as well, so maybe he was well tolerant of how she was giggling. I see the giggling hosts a lot, and they can't help it, they don't realize they're doing it even.
in 1987 my best friend and I were determined to meet duran we were 18 we flirted with the bus roadie guys , went to a video shoot at irvine meadows in southern cali , I brought john a tigger stuffed animal he wasn't very nice he just said that's what I need I was heartbroken but still bought his book and saw duran many times after but all my posters came down I am almost 50 and still have all the posters, albums, shirts, pillows box up still good childhood memories
Stephanie parido im sure John didnt mean to be rude. maybe he was just exhausted. when John met Renee for the first time he didnt recognize her and wasnt being nice to her but he made it up to her soon after their bad encounter. he might seem a bit standoffish sometimes but deep down John is a very kind person with a heart of gold
