The horns your talking about don't come from that siren on top of that big brick building. I have heard the horns before, we have something very similar in Carlisle mass because of a volunteer fire department. That yellow is actually what it is, a siren. CZcams search federal 3T22 siren. That's the kind of siren it is. It can do a solid wind up, to a wail signal, or a hi/lo signal for fire calls. I live in Pepperell and am in Milford frequently, but I have never heard it go off. It would be nice if it was still active or used for sever weather warnings when bad storms come around. But search it on CZcams and and you'll see what that thing really sounds like. Let me know if they actually do test it at all or if it's just up there inactive. I'd love to hear it.
It's still used when the department is dispatched, and can be heard for miles. Here's a video from August 2018 of it going off when a call came in: czcams.com/video/4E9Ovnj1Qq0/video.html
That yellow siren is NOT making that sound. The whistle sound is coming from something else, although I’m sure multiple people think it’s coming from the yellow siren. I’ve been to Milford several times and I have no clue where the whistle is coming from.
Love the Music
One of the nicest, sweetest, videos.
