- Here we are with the God of War, the villain of the Wonder Woman movie, Ares! I chose this song because he's the God of War! Oh, and I have an interesting fact for you, when you think of Ares remember that he seduced Aphrodite the Goddess of Beauty, so I have nothing against the actor but Ares is NOT supposed to look like this!

I don't really like this version of Ares, largely because I kinda prefer him looking like how he does in the comics (with the black face and the red eyes) rather than looking like a character from 300.
I don't know, to be honest I don't know much about the comic version for either of the mythology based characters. I usually compare them to the myths. Althouth this isn't really how I expect to see the real Ares either xd. But I think he looks like this because they wanted him being Ares to be a plottwist.
Yeah, I guess that make sense, however, another way they could have done it is to have Ares sort of just be in the background pulling the strings like in the 2009 Wonder Woman movie.
