I have the folding B&L from the '80s. They are now retired in a time capsule for my kids. Reason is the inner writing on the temples started to fade so I stopped wearing them. I bought them in 2008 from someone who said they'd seen Queen perform in Rio de Janeiro in '85 through these lenses. Dunno if it's true but it's a great story anyway.

Just picked up a pair of RB2132 with Progressive Clear Lenses, made in Italy. Most comfortable glasses I’ve ever owned. I wear them 24/7 except when I’m wearing my $80 Zenni sunglasses😎. The Zenni’s are remarkable for the price also👍
The original is the best. I kinda prefer it over clubmasters. Its a look you could pull off every day. Looks like it can last forever aswell. Its a classic. I just can't seem so find a pair with black lenses. Only find pairs with green lenses. Not sure if u get them with black or if the polarized is the black since yours looks black.
An eyeglass store can put what ever color you’d like for a cost of course. I had prescription polarized brown lenses with a tortoise shell frame. Totally tricked out
I had a lovely pair of Ray Bans and my husband knocked them off my head and they shattered and I could not believe that they were glass. He has just ordered me another pair for my birthday, I will be more careful with them this time, although I had my others a few years I was sad to lose them . 🕊🕊🕊

You should have started with an original pair of USA made B&L wayfarers. Those are the iconic originals. I have a couple pairs of the 2140s but those hardly get worn. It’s all about the Originals.
I got myself my Wayferer ease. They are on the way to my nearest sunglass hut store store. They said they didn’t have the black non polarized which is the one I wanted so they are gonna ship them to me tomorrow. I bought them on Saturday and said they would arrive tomorrow or Wednesday at my sunglass hut store.
I like the wayfarer ease however they don’t come in a size 54. I have both the RB2140 and RB2140F which is the Asian fit. The RB2140F is similar to the ease as they don’t have as much of a tilt and therefore are more comfortable. The RB2140F are made of acetate like the original however the wayfarer ease I don’t think are acetate.

@52 seconds.......no you don't necessarily feel sore on your nose and behind the ears. 80% of the time I wear wayfarer as prescription clear lens and sunglasses and they have never given me nose or behind the ear pain. perhaps it is the shape of Your specific head/face and not applicable to everyone.
The forward tilt of the originals make them look really sinister from the side! Whoever designed them was brilliant. I'm going to find out who he was and what else he designed.

I got mine from their shop in Vienna, Austria and the guy at the shop said that if i need it to fit better I could go to their shop and they'll refit it for me. When I bought them, the guy set the handle to fit me better as I have quite a small face
what is the big size of the RB4340 Ease please ? there's only the 50-22 on the official website and I couldn't find any size else . I'm wearing a 58mm for RB2132 , and 54mm for RB2140 , so I don't think that 50-22 could fit me well

2140 for style, 2132 for pure comfort. 4340 is a perfect balance of both.
I am confused about buying one out of three of them. May you please tell me the difference with practical uses.
Nothing beats the original. The tilt is the best thing about them.
They look too pointed on the corners and on some people look like girl sunglasses.

Is there a style of eyeglasses or sunglasses more classic and iconic than the wayfarers? Highly doubt it.
Only thing that even comes close is the aviators! But as far as iconic bold style goes I have to say wayfarers!
If you ask us in Europe the Persol 0649 are the most iconic sunglasses ever, then Wayfarer, then the Aviator, RB ofcourse.
