You're NOT an "expat" you are an inmigrant. Call things by their own name

Your pronunciation is dismal. It's COAST-ah del Esss-tay. Costa Del Este is kinda ugly if you walk around and really look at the area. The upper levels of the big apartment/condo buildings have fences across the open areas of the balconys to prevent things from being thrown off - be it garbage or living things.
Balboa Ave has ENDLESS traffic roar - even at 3:00 in the morning. I had a condo there and it was anything BUT restful. Cinta Costera is nice though. But the traffic noise makes living along Balboa Avenue a nightmare. And you do NOT want to live on Balboa Ave near Cinco De Mayo and the "oldest section of the the city."
Your pronunciation of "Paitilla" wasn't even close. Have you ever been to Panama City and spoken to anyone in Spanish? Punta Pacifica (you spelled it wrong in the video at the 7:00 mark) is pretty nice if you want to live surrounded by concrete and IF you are a member of the appropriate ethnic/religious group. However, do not expect to walk on grass or among trees or along a nice beach if you live there.
Neither Costa Del Este nor Punta Pacifia are anywhere near a metro line. Getting around by car, taxi, uber, and bus in/from/to these areas is S-L-O-W, and, except for buses, EXPENSIVE. Neither of these areas is a place I would want to live - and I've been in Panama since 2018.
This video was packed with horrible statements. I hope no one blindly accepts what you have said.

Where in the city is the best location then, if Costa del Este and Punta Pacifica are less than ideal?

The pronunciation sucks because it's AI narration. This is just another one of those barely informative and full of mistakes and mispronounced names! Lazy!

Sorry for my English, I speak Spanish and I am using help of ia to make this free information videos.Reading all you talk about just I am disappointed, I respect your opinion but is not mine. My recommendation is If you don't like Panama to live you are free to go back to your country, this is a free country with a free culture and actually is a happy place. Also I don't understand why are you buying condos here? I think anyone need to know very well an area before moving, is a Smart idea renting first and buying later 😊
