    Thanks for the video. I was working at BG when this one was first released. At the time, it was my favorite coaster. Unknown to the general public is that this coaster originally was intended to have a musical "soundtrack" accompanying it. The orchestral score was recorded but never used, supposedly because they couldn't find a reliable method of powering it. The speakers, in fact, are visible, but unless something has changed since my years there, it's never been used. I worked in the music dept at the time and have a recording somewhere. If I can get back to the park, I'd like to GoPro the ride and maybe sync it up.

Last road it in 2018 and it's never given me a headache, it's never been a headbanger for me, it's never run rough and it has one of my favorite first drops of all time.

    My friends and I rode this one three times in one day cause we loved it so much. It's oddly relaxing for a thrill ride, like you're flying through the woods just barely skimming trees/rocks. The rocky slopes at 2:25 looked a lot more realistic when I was there too, maybe they repainted them?
    The first row is 100% worth it if you're prepared to wait a while. The back row is fast + still fun but you cant see anything above or in front of you.
    We waited maybe 5-10 mins for our first couple rides in one of the back seats, then 45 mins for the front row.

    Fun fact, I rode this coaster when I was a kid (maybe 13-14 years old) and right at the top of the lift my chest protector (or whatever it's called) moved up and wouldn't latch back into place. The only thing holding it down was the flimsy nylon strap, but damn did it take "thrill ride" to a whole new level.

    I want on that thing close to 5 times in a row. Or Until we got bored, the drop was the best part and going upside down from the drop. Standing right beside the first element is huge you just wonder how does the ride actually make it around. There is a net which I think is funny in case something like a shoe flies at you. It was a very smooth ride since the last time we went on it almost 5 years ago. How is the ride today? Is it smooth, or worse? O And try playing Marco Polo, My cousin and I played it even going over the loop-d Loop. Which is the second Element. I love rides so much, I'm one of those crazy roller coaster fanatics that even on a drop down ride, i would try to bend my back so the harness wouldn't go in all the way just to get some air-time. Well that didn't work. Even on the back seat of Steel Force at Dorney park you get air-time going over the hills, I tried to stand up, I knew I could I just limited my but to 5inches off the seat even though I could of gone higher.

    Funny story, I've been on this ride but I don't remember it because I had a massive breakfast that morning which didn't sit well and I spent the whole ride clenching my ass so I wouldn't shit my pants........I didn't make it.

      It is NOTHING like Batman. The manufacturer might be the same but the height, layout, theming, and speed are nothing the same as Batman.

      I never got a headache. Granted there is head banging on the first part of the cobra roll. It reeds to be re-profiled with the modern b&m track. My big gripe with this coaster is the brakes sucking the life out of the second half.

  • @xsniperwolf9457
    @xsniperwolf9457 Před 6 lety +4

    This ride is nothing special if you actually ride a-lot of inverts like me if you compare this ride to montu or nemesis this loses so painful there is a-lot of head banging

    • @LordMalice6d9
      @LordMalice6d9 Před 6 lety +1

      Montu has gotten incredibly overrated over the years. The mid course break kills nearly all of the momentum of the 2nd half of the ride to where it just losses steam. Montu is a shadow of its former self.

    • @xsniperwolf9457
      @xsniperwolf9457 Před 6 lety

      LordMalice6d9 try riding montu then your opinion change it loses no momentum on the break run i have ridden montu 26 times i know if a ride loses it momentum
