its nice to see someone straight up say "we owe this all to our parents, they helped us out 100%" and NOT have everyone immediately star bashing them for using daddy's money, blah blah blah. These guys come of as very humble and very aware (i know its hard to tell form just one youtube vid, but you can usually get an idea). They seem honest and upfront, and i give them a major kudos to taking what their parents said to heart, and also giving back to the community. I know that they have to make money to continue, but it seems like just the love of drifting alone can keep this going for a while. Keep up the good work guys!
I met Coy in Norfolk, always been a cool dude and down to earth with a real passion for the cars and driving them. These guys are doing gods work, support um!
I really appreciate that man. We want to remain personable and relatable. Mom and Dad have supported us endlessly and me and Caden both would love for this little track in the middle of nowhere to take care of them for the rest of their lives. Also thank you for the kind words 🙌
@DrivenLuckCircuit With you two at the healm itll only keep getting better and continously profitable.
@@TWCAAO thanks big dawg 🤘 we’re going to try our best!
You are 100% right. They are one of the nicest families I’ve ever met
Props to their parents for being a backbone for a growing sport. And those kids seem like solid dudes and appreciate the situation they were born into. Can’t wait to see content from this track.
We were actually born into poverty! Through Dads long work days and perseverance he made a way for us. Now it’s our turn to take care of him some 😂
Driven luck Circuit 2024 is about to get wild brother. Hope to see you guys soon
Can’t wait to have you dude!
They need to keep dropping merch. We can always just support that way.
I'm going to a private event at this track in May. Thanks for sitting down with the owners. Hopefully they are able to keep improving/expanding for years to come!
We hope to constantly improve! Also super stocked for the private day 😂
That's an epic move from the parents,

good job holding it together while Aaron holds a phone 2 feet from yall's face lmao - but tbh, spending $150 on a tripod & lav mics might not be grass roots enough lol
but really, you guys seem real genuine & we are all rooting for you. Going into this without taking on crippling debt is an amazing start & a great use of what you were blessed with by the fam. I truly believe you'll have the community rallying behind yall to help with all the rest now that more are starting to learn the story.
Haha we were just excited to be talking to Aaron 😂
Also thank you, we’ve been very fortunate with those we were born with and those who we have the privilege of calling friends. We’re all just excited to be here and none of it feels real 😂 but if I’m dreaming please just let me sleep.
Seems like some chill dudes, might have to go check out their track!
Thanks man! Come party with us!
Awesome group down there, I highly recommend it.
Hell yeah, I'm trying to build a road coarse, WRC, & drag track here in Colorado that is FIA, HPDE, SCCA, NHRA certified. For the bare minimum I'm looking at 11.8 million. I'm looking to find investors and whatnot bro I've been working on it for over a year doing my SWOT analysis and doing actual cost estimates. I understand how difficult its been getting this done. Hats off to ya cannot wait to see the progress!
I’ve got 5$ if I can pitch in
11.8 million? I need to win the lottery
They seem like really genuine dudes. Stoked to get out there and drive this year. I drive Midpond a good bit and this is the next closet one to me ❤
Bro! Instead of just having a drift track business and relying on it to make all the money, start or buy an asphalt business as well. That seems to bring in huge moneez and you can use the equipment to build your own track fro minimal cost. Win/Win.
I just looked up asphalt machines on machinio auction site. They aren't too expensive. Even if you just bought your own machine and laid the asphalt yourself would be so much cheaper. Lemme look up how much the asphalt is itself.. .
shiiii asphalt only costs $40-$80 per ton. So I think most of the cost goes into the labor that you pay for. If you diy, get a bunch of drifters for the labor and offer them a trade on entry fees etc and then you could drastically reduce costs. Lessgooo!!!
heard about these guys on the Circle of Drift Pod. Love the work that they’re putting in it’s beautiful to see how far they’re going
30min from Chatt is actually very accessible being centralized around Nashville, Knoxville, and Atlanta. 2.5 Hr total commute with hotels available in Chatt is very doable.
We have airbnbs closer too! Also camping is welcome
Nice! @@DrivenLuckCircuit
Hands down the best track I've driven to date. Such a chill vibe, great family that makes sure you're taken care of, great facility, can't wait to get back out there soon. Coy, Cade, and the rest of the family are amazing. Support these folks and let's see this place grow. Much love 🤘
17:14 - 17:18 that's how my village sits in the german country side, in the middle of a city triangle, 40-50 minutes to each of the cities (nonetheless only 10 min to the next big grocery store). In the 'middle of nowhere', BUT in the middle of a city triangle, it's not only the best place when you want to build something that makes noise, for me it's the best place to live!
I'm happy about the fact, that i only need to drive around half an hour to allstedt 🤘
this is so cool... this makes me miss parc so much, i moved to the portland area to enjoy parc and than it goes away
These guys are living out every drivers dream! Keep up the great work and good vibes!
A tiered membership plan would possibly go a long way towards the coverage of that debt. Like a set amount of hours/days per tier along with a certain amount of free tickets for the event days or discounts (again depending on the level of membership) per tier. Events themselves would also be a potentially good means of attracting the crowds, from beginners drift courses to workshops with a particular renowned driver, but also events on the land that aren't even driving/drifting related. My first thought in that regard was the Download festival that's held at Donnington race track each year. It doesn't have to be an overnight/sleep there (though that could be an option for a set amount of premium style tickets, with a glamping sort of vibe idk).
Sorry if none of these ideas are viable for you guys, I was just pulling stuff out of the top of my head. I really wish you all the success with this endeavour and you are absolute legends for even trying this and if I am ever in your neck of the woods (I live in the UK) I am absolutely love to spend some time spinning out on your track.
All the best for the future dudes, both with the track but with your personal lives as well.
One of the most fun tracks that I’ve driven!
We’re so lucky to have so many great people apart of this community
Drifting has the best dude!
I’ve been to three DLC events so far since they’ve opened and even with the small amount of features the track and the vibe is unmatched and you can just feel its gonna be something big one day
Wholesome dudes. Enjoy the facility, and can’t wait to be back!
The Dillards are some of the nicest people I've ever met, and the weekend i went there was the most fun ive had drifting. Seriously a place everyone needs to go experience. My friends and I drove about 10 hours one way to get there and we're already trying to plan a trip back.

While I am at it, I'll bank some side cash, buy some land, and make it so my kiddos can have WHATEVER they want for their future!
You say a little track like that is only good for drifting but it'd be good for autocross too should they want to expand into the grip world.

I was just thinking about how i want to move to alabama and get a job at a zoo. i wonder if they would be down to make a literal north american ebisu and have a zoo on the property as well because id happily work there and landscape the track in between tending to the animals
We have goats, pigs, chickens, and hella dogs 😂
I'm in ATL and I would love to being my car out there for a week and just get all the seat time that I can. Lanier isn't as accessible as I would like it to be and I just want to drive whenever I have some free time. This track looks so dope.
"We" could surely do some SCCA time trails and spec circuit races there. Hopefully they get into that and broaden their market.
We plan on expanding to SCCA next year!
@@DrivenLuckCircuit that's great! I know here in Colorado we have a few small tracks we run. I think the La Junta track is smaller than yours and we love it, having a paved paddock, I think y'all could have success. We drive 4 hours to get to that track. So the people will come. Keep it up 💪🏿

They need to buy the land around their track to battle noise ordinances
We have no ordinances, literally zero rules haha. Also our neighbors love the track and are all super supportive!
@@DrivenLuckCircuitfor now the neighbors are ok with it, but what about 10-20 years in the future?
@@bigdfitness5020 it’s all family land out here. One of our neighbors has 148 acres (it’s mostly around the track) and he won’t come off of a foot of it 😂
that's awesome! I wish there was a drift track in or near Marshall County WV. best we ever had around here was a little go cart track but that got taken away years ago

We love you too pal 🥰
The pit asphalt is more expensive because parking lots are much thicker to support standing weight for extended periods of time. You want it thicker to prevent damage from jackstands and trailer jacks, etc

@@DrivenLuckCircuithere’s a place being built in Florida called @leadfootcity
I've been involved in the building or renovation of a circuit track, a drag strip and the building of a 1/4 mile oval. All three were undertaken by millionaires who owned construction and paving companies.
I'm Ganna try my ass off to get out there this year I wanted to make out last summer but gas was to high for MD to Alabama for me had to stay local
Great video very informative. Thank you.
does the track will have Japanese track aesthetic? like Meihan C sign at the straight, blue white curbs from ebisu circuit/meihan
Absolutely! The concrete aprons will be blue/white and we plan on making a walk way over the top of the track with a sign like Meihan.
@@DrivenLuckCircuit ohooo that SICK🔥

I’ve got to get out there this summer, it’s too close not to go.
good guys and great vid would love to come down and drive it one day.
We’d love to have you!
Hey Aaron, I hear you say that you would like to see a drift track that isn't in the middle of nowhere. I too would love that! But what about dealing with the noise? If it's too close to a densely populated area I could see a problem being noise complaints. Love the content!
They should do a 3-5 day drift school once a month with a select amount of students that could help bring in some money maybe get a couple missile cars to even rent out for track days that’s an idea
Paved road to get in? Aaron likes to dream big :)
Would love to see you look in to JDMXPARK in South Australia it’s a purpose built drift track built buy one man in the middle of the outback
I don't know if you know this but there is another drift track in the works up in New Hampshire
you could make the track in a simulator before you actually build it, that way you can test the layout and do changes before building anything. I think that's how they design new race tracks today
We actually tried that! The unfortunate truth is sim’s and real life translate completely different.
@@DrivenLuckCircuit for new F1 track for example, they use simulator to visualize, test, and alter a design before any building is even considered. don't know how easy it is to build a track in simulator, or translate it to real life. but that seems to be the way they do it today, at lest top level tracks.
If I had land it would be a rally stage over drifting.
Good job on thanking your parents. Dont see that much anymore. And awesome for pursuing your dreams.
Would be pretty awkward to talk about them paying for everything and not thank them.
thanks guys thats awesome do you have any content on the building of the track

legends
I don't think the Go fund me was added.
It’s on our website if you’d like to contribute!
Property tax too lol. I just think that people don't understand how much cars cost let alone managing a real track. There's a reason why "NASCAR ONLY" tracks have multiple track layouts to reduce the risk / alleviate burden of income into a financial 'investment' such as a track. The added costs of everything for upkeep and continuing such requires a complex balance sheet.
It would be nice to drop $1.5mil everywhere for track layouts, but we're not as small as Japan and we are definitely way more spread out in terms of drifter per square mile average compared to such.
I see all these dope tracks online, but it makes almost zero sense to try to make it out across the US because of gas mileage/lodging/towing costs.
Thanks for the video and reminding me how long I've bene into drifting. 20 years here And after a 6-7 year hiatus, I'm getting back to it.
Uh tons of people travel across the country to drive at different tracks, it’s all part of the fun.
Is the track miehan without the connections?
Uhm kind of? It’s not as big and there’s a good bit of elevation changes. For example, from the back of the straight you can’t see turn 1 at all
I don't blame you for not wanting to tell everyone to shut up but did you feel the same about asking them to be quiet? Just curious I'm pretty sure that's what you meant I would be uncomfortable asking them to quiet down also. I think it sounds fine though
These two are great with great vibes and there doing something amazing for the community, but if they wanna succeed and be able to do all the cool things for the track that they wanna do then they are definitely going to need someone with a buisness sense because giving services away for free or giving the homie hook up is just not sustainable. I'm not talking about over pricing everything. I just mean you gotta treat it like a business first and at some point you'll be able to give the homie discount. I have no doubt in my mind that you guys will flourish. It's time to bring the tracks back to America.
You’re absolutely right! We’re learning as we go for sure!
Need an American ebisu

Lineage roots racing is not grass roots drifting. Just saying. People from the mud have WAY MORE challenges in front of them. Grass roots minority drifting is so ignored it's a joke
Long story short youre way better off buying land in the middle of nowhere and building your own 4-5 corner 2nd gear track and charge 10 of your close friends here n there and let them all sleep in your house/use your bathroom. Opening a track for drifting is 1000% not worth it lmao
