@@MrDazP1adv3ntures it’s such a great hobby isn’t it. Definitely more enjoyable when we find some candy in the pan though. I was speaking with my brother about you the other day and maybe arrange a meet up sometime.

The trips out to the rivers are all based around - what's for lunch SGP 😊And like you said, a new river is always an interesting prospect. We all live in hope of finding the next nugget...
Thought I’d pop along to see a dedicated gold prospector in action, very impressive Darren, your in one of my most favourite places to be Scotland 🏴 a bit remote for me but stunningly beautiful, a great hobby, ‘The Call of the Wild’ must be in your blood lad to carry all that equipment up hill as well, that’s a massive achievement, well done 👍 you will sleep well tonight 😅
Ever since I was a young boy I have played out in my local hills Bernice.
I never knew at the time, but as I got older, I realised that the great outdoors was always going to be my salvation and eventually it would become a part of my life.
This place is truly remote but it is also a great place to escape from the modern day nonsense that seems to appear in our daily lives. The gold is a bonus.
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures I couldn’t agree more Darren, I would love to escape from this crazy nonsense that is taking over our lives, if I was younger and in better health I would be in the Scottish Highlands like a shot, I spent over forty years there with my late husband, it was a magical place and will always be in my heart and thoughts, I agree the gold is a bonus indeed, maybe if you find enough you could buy your own little island one day, anything’s possible! If you have a dream follow it! 🤗

Nice one Philip. Plenty of energy in a rice cake. It's tough doing this sort of stuff and by the time you get back to the camp, you know you have had a work out 👍
