For all those watching. You don't need to wire up the brake switch wire. You can either A) connect it to a + 12v feed already from the loom to the stereo, or even easier B) in the settings you can disable the need to the cable altogether
I installed a different brand and model (8+128GB, 8 Cores, ...) but your video helped me quite a lot! The only thing I still need to find out is how to wire the AUX Port in the botton center. I couldn't follow the connection lines, so it might be connected already or not.

My Seicane radio came with a harness with a connector for a CanBus decoder box - but no decoder. Seicane says the unit I got doesn't need a decoder - but then why supply a cable harness with a CanBus connector?? I have had multiple problems (wireless CarPlay), backup camera, non-functioning mic) and language barrier is a real problem. I can't seem to get this question across to them. So hoping someone here can help...

Happy Easter! The camera was installed by the previous owner and it wasn't hooked up to anything. Unfortunately I can't tell you anything about it, but yes, it has pretty dissent quality.
Did you ever get the Easy Connect working? I installed this Seicane unit but I can't find the Easy Connect app that is mentioned in the user manual. I'd like to get that mirror link functionality.
Hi. I have a 2010 Mazda 5 and I installed the same android stereo from Seicane and it works great but i have one little problem which is when I put the car into reverse the rear camera comes on like it should but the radio volume shuts off. Is there anything i can do to solve that?
It does this for safety reason as to tend to have less awareness around you when reversing thus muted sound allows you to hear anything that might be important. You should be able to disable it somewhere in the settings.
I have similar unit from different Chinese brand on aliexpress and the intensity of volume change csn be set or completely disabled in the android settings me. u related to car infotainment functions.
I wonder how does this new panel fit into position of the original one. Its more wide in the area of the screen. Original panel has clips on the side, that holds the panel and radio in place. This wide panel cannot fit this clips and therefore all that holds this panel with radio in place, are 2 screws in the bottom only. Or did I overlooked something. It just simply does not fit in my car.
Do you have the actual pannel in your hands? It did fit like a glove on mine. All holding pins for the clips are exactly where they are on the original panel. You just need to pull out the clips from your old panel and click them onto the new panel pins. The screen area is wider, yes, but the panel still fits perfectly in place, believe it or not
Yes. All apps run on the background if you don’t close them. Only CZcams turns off when minimized, but that is a CZcams restriction, not a device restriction
boost331 no, I don’t think it auto adjusts, but it has a very convenient shortcut button at the top of the screen for screen brightness. I never get to use it though, I don’t find it too bright at night

No the link in the description does not have any other options for this specific vehicle. My mazda 5 is an 08. I have this unit and it fits beautifully and does not block the green display at all. If you want something else you'll probably have to shop from a different manufacturer
@Elin Yakov's Rusty Beauties I have two issues with this unit. It's installed in my 08 mazda 5 and working great except A.) I can't figure out how to change the color or the panel buttons which is something they expressly advertised for it, and B.) For the last 2 days I have not been able to fully connect to ANY wifi networks. Every connection I try the unit says "limited connection" and can't actually use the gps or any other network features. I've tried multiple phone hotspots and multiple home wifi hotspots. Same thing on all of them. Can you help??
I also can't find a way to change the color of the buttons, maybe it is a wiring choice? I recently installed a different unit in a different car and it had two wires for the illumination. I wasn't sure why, but now I am thinking maybe it is for different colors? Just a guess, maybe I am wrong. Regarding the internet connection have you tried turning off the wifi function for a while? If that doesn't help I believe a hard reset will fix it- turn power off and then on from the fuse panel including the memory.
@@RustyBeauties UPDATE as of now i have uesd the small reset button on the front AND tried completely un-pluging the unit for about 15 mins or so in an attempt to completely reset the unit to out of the box condition. yet it still came back on afterwards and had all my apps and settings. and again the wifi would connect to any wifi network and then say "limited connection" regardless of what network it is so the unit is rendered completely OFFLINE in terms of functionality. and on top of that, now it occasisonally freezes and basically doesnt respond to any input until i hit the small reset button on the front panel again. this has happened 2 times in the last 24 hours. my install is perfect i know there are no wiring issues and for what its worth im an ase certified mechanic. the included back-up camera i bought from seicane to go with this unit is also dead out of the box. the head unit will change to the camera feed and it will say "no signal" after a few seconds. yes the camera wiring is installed correctly. i even tried using direct power and ground from the battery to make the camera come on and it doesnt. the radio will switch to the camera, but the camera shows no image. this is all very frustrationg because you and this video are the sole reason i purchased this seicane head unit in the first place. so far i am VERY UNHAPPY with my experience. im looking into alternative options from other companies to replace this with before i decide to return this to seicane. again very disappointing

Unfortunately ive just got a problem with my car stereo (mazda 5). The screen became dark, i restarted the car but rn the only thing that appears on the screen is "android", no one of the buttons is working. Could u give me any advice, is there any way i can fix this on my own?
I am sorry to hear that. I am mot sure what happened, but if a restart doesn’t work I don’t think you can do much on your own. Try a “hard restart”, which means to disconnect all the power going to the stereo. When you turn the car off you only disconnect the ACC power, but the memory power is still connected. One option is to pull the stereo out of the dash and unplug the main connector, but a much easier way would be to disconnect the car battery for a minute or two and connect it agin. It might take while for the stereo to boot after that, but chances are it will start. I hope that helps. Пожелавам ти успех 😊

Not sure if it can help but in my car stereo if you go to settings and unlock factory menu by pin 8888, there is some kind of pcinfiguration preset list for various car brands and models. Perhaps changing that might help? I'm not sure what exactly that preset changes...

How does it sound? Do you know what the RMS power output is to the speakers?
its the same as factory. this unit uses the cars factory installed amp. the sound is a bit better from the improved signal quality into that amp.
