The only potential problem is the valve but by all appearances it didn't leak under pressure, they went above my expectations in using a powder coat finish instead of an enamel or epoxy finish which is more cost effective. I hav 2 this type cylinder in my kitchn nd I also fear if thy burst i will burn alive. my frend girl badly burnd last year due to gas leak but her cylinder did nt blast only gas caught fire
Hmmm, cylinders contaminated internally with old paint and welding ash, no date stamp for re-testing and no gas authority markings. Back yard gas cylinders what could possibly go wrong.

Let face facts here. A gas tank is a dangerous item. Therefore the steel and fittings used must be of a top quality. It is madness using inferior quality materials just to undercut the price.
I'm confident these tanks meet Indian government standards. And I don't think their intent was to undercut, but simply to make a living. Other than the cleanliness of the inside of the tank, nothing here worried me particularly.
