  • Found my Baro Cook Stove recently. Decided to give it a try after about 2 years since it’s last use.

      Thanks for watching . It’s not for everyday use but it’s great for those times that you can’t make a fire.

    I have some emergency food, coffee and an alcohol stove in my working vehicle, just in case I get stuck somewhere and get hungry. This sweet stove would be a better set up to take place of the alcohol stove. As for the camera, every time I turn if of, a bald eagle flies by. It never fails. Thanks for the video.

    I've had one of these for a few years and just started using it on a regular basis. A can of soup with the pull off lid, a spoon and a bottle of water and you are good to go. I have the smaller version and it all fits nicely in one of those small insulated lunch boxes. It's makes a great no fuss meal prep.

    I find mine super handy. I would recommend putting the food in the container first, put the water in and mix around well. Let hydrate a bit. THEN put the heat packet in and add the water. Once “done”, mix up and recover for a minute. :)

    same thing i guess as what the put in military MREs these days. they heat the food, but nothing as romantic as a good hobo fire!

    Good cooking alternative. Sure beats cold MRE's. I use the ESBIT because of size. Hey, when you getting out of that lethargic state and coming down here to East Tennessee? No income tax, all the day hiking you'd ever want! Better hurry, real estate going up. We're getting the Florida overflow. All the Best!

    Very interesting product. I have seen those at our local outfitting store and always wondered if they were good. Seems to be a handy item to have in areas you cant have open flame. Great to keep in the car too......Take care, Bluefin.

      I don't have any complaints. Only downside is the cost of the of the fuel packs so it's definitely not a daily use stove if you're cost conscious.

    • @mustang774
      @mustang774 Před 3 lety

      @@weekendwanderer5514 Yes I guess it would be a back up or emergency type stove to use if the fuel packs are expensive.

    Nice video, I remember your original review video. About ten years ago we found Mt House beef stroganoff on clearance somewhere for 2 bucks each. We bought so many we got sick of eating them.
    Just looked them up on Amazon. There is an interesting looking one for hot beverages! Magic Cook Triple Layers.
