Love a good lens review from Mr Padley always an outstanding video 👌💯
Ayyy that's always great to hear! Thanks mate!
@@CurtisPadley anytime bro! 💯
Hi Roman, loving these travel series videos, especially Lisbon as it’s a place I’ve wanted to visit for some time. My problem is the cost of my Medical Travel Insurance has gone crazy, they are asking between £400 and £700, just for 7 nights in Tenerife, so we’ve bought a tent and will visit a few places over here this year, got a couple of nights near Ingleton Falls next Friday and 3 nights booked up near York in July, hoping for a week away in August but not sure yet, looking at Scotland, Cornwall or South Wales, Pembrokeshire area.
Hopefully I’ll get to Lisbon next year, maybe even later this year, just have to check the cost of insurance for 3-4 nights.
Nice choice Curtis !!! I’m really interested yon this wide angle prime lens for real estate video and landscape photography
Lens looks fantastic 👌🏻 another great video
It's a cracking lens and thanks dude!
Cool lens, smooth vid, Curtis! Spanish villa, eh? Nice! Is the lens display screen clearly visible in daylight? Don’t underestimate the custom fixed focus buttons - sounds like snap focus on Ricoh. For fast moving street photography you might want to set one focus point for nearby subjects, another for subjects further out - if that makes sense. When using those focus button “modes”, what focus mode is set in camera (e.g., manual)? Do the chosen distances appear in the EXIF data? Would be interesting to compare the lens focus distance shown in the lens display against what the camera manual focus data registers.
Bring back any good Spanish wine? Cheers!
The outdoor shots are nice but the indoor shots are incredible. Something about the lighting really suits the lens well
Great review. Just bought one. It was the owe-owe focus test that sealed the deal for me lol.
What's your thoughts on this lens? 🤔
It’s coming in the mail tomorrow! Using it for real estate and so stoked.
Sam what’s your thoughts on it now
I will be heading to London later this year and trying to decide what lens would best for most photography. I will be shooting some landscapes, probably mostly street. Any suggestions?
Great xideo as always 👍
Thanks dude!
Seems like this lens would be excellent for use on any of the 6000 series APS-C models giving a 24mm equivalent field of view.
Hi can you also try the Kamlan 50mm 1.1 Lens its the cheapest lens you can buy right now than 7artisans
9:04 shot on zve10, it just a really nice preset🙂
great video!
Ayyy thanks mate! 🤙
Amazing Bro
Thanks mate appreciate it! 🤙
nicely done , can give me that link to that spain villa ?
💜👍💜👍 ,,,,cool looking lens👍👍👍
Looks the goods 👍. Once they iron out some of the bugs with the electronic display with a firmware update, I’ll buy one.
It's brilliant! 🤙 What bugs have you heard about with the display? I haven't had any issues from my hands-on experience, maybe other creators found somthing I haven't yet 🤔
Planning to get this lens for my sony fx30 in the future since I only have 2 lenses. One is the Samyang 12MM F2 and Samyang 24MM T1.9 giving me focal range of 18MM and 35MM equivalent respectively. Great video BTW. New subscriber here from India!!
hey bro, i have a 16mm f1.4 sigma its for a APSC sensor camera! id highly recommend that for you, in the used market you could probably get one for $200 usd instead of purchasing this one for the $540 usd price
@@KCALB_MEDIAhey man thanks for ur thoughts. Will go for sigma 16 instead of this one for my sony fx30 in the coming days. Cheers mate 🍻🍻
Of course! Cheers and congratulations on that new purchase hope you come up with great content!
@@KCALB_MEDIA thank you very much my dude. All the very best to you as well. 👍🏻
👍 Nice video😊
You have Test the Viltrox 13mm 1.4 for Sony Alpha 6400 ?
It works on a7rii...is it ok for real estate photo?thanks
Great breakdown bro! Love wide shots architecture. Good shots too
Give the 13mm 1.4 Viltrox designed for APS-C ago. I use it on the Z50 and it's outstanding.
Can I use this lense with sony alpha A7III
I also own this lens now. Not my best lens as I own the 85mm 1.4 GM, the 35mm 1.4 Sigma Art and the 24-70 2.8 but as you can see it was somehow needed to have something wider. I'm gonna use it for film and photography.
This lens looks great, I was previously looking on getting the sigma 16mm f1.4. Would this be worth the step up in price?
The Sigma lens (I assume you mean the new 14mm?) is a better lens. No question. I was considering it but it's big and pretty heavy, nearly 1.2kg and can't take standard lens filters.
If you have the money and don't mind those issues it's the one to go for.
In the end as I use my A7IV for travel photography, I ordered the Viltrox. It's a lot cheaper, it's less than half the weight. It takes standard filters so I can put a 77mm Sigma WR UV filter on to protect and use my larger ND/CPL filter on it. It's very sharp from the reviews and while I've been dubious about Viltrox as a brand in the past. I'm going to give this a go.
I've been considering an ultrawide for my A7IV for over a year and I'd narrowed it down to the Tamron 17-28 F2.8, Sigma 14-24 F2.8 then the Sigma 14mm F1.4 and the Viltrox F1.8 came out. It was finally time to buy so I have an ultrawide for my next NYC trip.
Your thumbnails are so tasty. I'm hungry..
I am a big funs of Viltrox,i ve got 23 33 56 24 35 50 85mark2 13......and i will buy 75mmf1.2 and 27mmf1.2 the PRO lens,16?maybe next year we go out for the Starry Sea~
