Braun CD4 -2 short troubleshooting video.

I have been asked to spend an hour and have a look at this unit. The trouble appears to be in the tracking and focus transistors.
Overall, I am impressed with this player. Sounds more than fine on its analogue output and both build quality and engineering are very good.

Thank again for the video, indeed Braun made good stuff in the days. Still high price on second market here in Germany.

Have you had it for a long time or just got it? If it's a new acquisition, then turn up it's pre-amp, for on power up the volume is set to zero. Which of course you know if you had it for some time. It does have a mute function, but that's reset on every power up (I think). Then, different input could be selected to the one you're trying to use. Finally, send it to me ;-)
