Today we make our first honey pot. Going to use it for a trade with a coworker. Choice of wood is some Osage Orange that I had on the shelf drying. #rgcustomcallsandwoodturning

That turned out great! I’ve turned a few things with some Osage orange that I’ve got. Mine is a very bright yellow inside, but I haven’t found a finish yet that keeps it from turning brown. It’s such a beautiful bright yellow but turns a dull brown. It turns quicker in the sun too.
I’ve cut and split it for firewood for years and it changes very quick. Same with Mulberry. I’ve heard it all changes. I’ve got some calls with a CA finish where the color is holding. We will see! Thanks for watching!👍🏻
