Offense was far worse than what it could have been last year. Especially if you watched the games. Smith and Lindgren we're trying to build their resume in the second half rather than play for wins. Gundy will be a major upgrade with an offense that actually fits the players on the roster.
Oregon State has only lost like 3 games at home in the last three seasons, just so you're aware. Oregon State is going to give literally everything and more on September 14th. It's our Super Bowl.
I don't think beaver fans understand how much they lost. Their team was entirely poached. It's gonna be a rough next 3 years before they can start to heal
@@zehsackett6132Us fans understand that we have no time to heal. Can't sit aside the next two years. Although I do believe that 7-5 is possible, I think that it is the basement. Might lose fans patience at 7-5 and below. Defense will lead us though. Heard some good reviews about the defense this Spring from those who watch majority practices. Home should be good place so I agree that the Beavers will continue to do well. I do see Oregon as a lost but that is do the offense. We will play the Ducks better than Smith's last game against them. If the stories are correct, the Beavers were not into the game. This year is Beaver Nations Rocky moment. (Que the Eye of Tiger song)
Definitely a reciever group by committee last year. With development from Noga and Valsin, add in Clemons and some true freshman snaps for Anderson and Durant and it should be a bright spot for the offense. Jermaine Terry could be a day two draft pick with the way OSU develops TEs
As a disclaimer, as a football fan, I am rooting for Oregon State to overcome all their issues in these next few years. I'm hoping for the best out of the Beavers this year. However, I do see a decline in productivity for Oregon State this year, if you realistically look at what they've lost. I believe the Beavers go 7-5 as a best-case scenario. Worst-case scenario? 5-7. I guarantee that the Beavers lose to the Oregon Ducks (a Top 10 team in the country imo). San Diego State, UNLV and Boise State are all capable of beating the Beavers. If Air Force has a good game, keep them in mind. Oregon State vs. Washington State can go either way.
I’m confident in our defense, I’m just worried about our QBs and O Line. Only reason we were able to win 10 games the season Gulbranson started was because of our run game and our defense, if he’s our best option we’re gonna be in some trouble
Looks like you did a lot of work on this. Interesting opinions. I would have more confidence if you could pronounce players names. I think OSU does not lend itself to predictions because there are too many unknowns. The RB and QB positions could be anything from elite to weak depending upon some key players. Most of their wins over the last two years were due to defensive coaching and the defensive coordinator is now head coach. We will have to see how this new group gels. Will be fun to watch the first two games and see how they develop.
Purdue isnt losing to Oregon State. Oregon Dtate has less talent, less excitement, and is so inexperienced. Purdue may not he great, but they have more talent, experience, and even a bit more excitement, with Oregon State having little to none after being relegated.
A lot of confidence in that 4-8 big 10 juggernaut. On the road across the country they might even be underdogs in that game. We’ll see. I think it’s a coin flip.
@@donhula5298 I am traveling to Corvallis for that game, and expect it to be competitive, assuming the Ducks don't mentally decimate OSU too badly the week before.
Beaver fans really need to lower their standards for this year. They'll be lucky to make a bowl game. They can recover over time with their pac12 money and TV deal but it'll take 5-10 years to get back to where they were if ever.
The fans will pack up and abandon the sport if it takes longer than 1-2 years. We cannot afford to wait that long, so it's either "Win now, or gtfo and leave us alone."

Is nuts. Beavers still have a lot of P5 talent and a very promising head coach that provides continuity.

You know ball
So many dawgs in the secondary and LB corps. If the D Line develops the defense will be just as good as last year

Everett Hayes was our primary kicker in 21 and 22. Not a loss there

FYI the conference is the Pac 12.
KNOWN EXTREMELY SCARY ROAD ENVIRONMENT CAL LMAO
"Collapse of the Pac 12" Lol Last time I checked there's still a patch on the jersey
Wait…. You actually think the PAC 12 didn’t collapse?
@@runDATrun6 beaver fans try so hard to hold onto the little hope they have left
Why is Cal gonna beat Oregon State "Because they're in the ACC"
Another thing you forgot to mention- that Boise game is at 10 AM LOCAL TIME. So you can pretty much toss that home field advantage out the window
Valsin*
So a team that easily won 26-9 last year (and could have easily won by more) loses in Week 2 the year after. Yeah, no way
AIR FORCE? Cmon man backups are power 5 players too
Air Force is no push over. I think their defense is way better too. I got them winning by 14 at least or maybe 21
7-5 losses to San Diego State, Oregon, Purdue, Air Force and Boise State
Smith went to MSU and MSU gonna be good the beavers will take a downfall i belive.
Oregon State goes 11-1, they beat the ducks
10-2 we will surprise u 🦫🦫

9-3. Losses to Oregon Air Force and Boise State
Best 9-3 worst 6-6 in my opinion 8-4
Losses Oregon, Cal, Air Force, and Boise State
3-10 conference championship loss
♾️ and zero
7-5 is a catastrophic failure of a season. Kills any chance of returning to Power status and fans likely abandon the sport in droves, if not entirely.
