I’m a new golfer and have worked out that learning to play golf is game that you can’t just get in a few lessons. It’s a series of hurdles that give you insight. I’ve watched great lessons that get me a little further, but I still wasn’t able to get great contact. Before I saw this video on Saturday I am shooting 30 consistently. I played Sunday in the cold rain, using this swing thought only, and I shot 8 over on the front and 13 over on the back. It doesn’t sound great, but the weather wasn’t helping. This video opened for me the next step which is remarkable. I am now more confident that I have been heading in the right direction, I just needed to see the wall. Thinking about the wall and my rhythm helped me beat my golf buddy for the first time by 11 strokes. Thanks for sharing this, you’re an amazing coach.

Hi Craig, absolutely brilliant videos. I’ve been working on my swing for a month finding out a little at a time. Then I found your videos. The best tip I’ve had, and nobody really knows this fact, is the compression of you elbows on the backswing before you downswing. This is the secret for bringing the club on a in to out path. You can literally get compression every time. Plus the 40 degrees angle in posture and making sure you turn the shoulder’s correctly. Videoing your swing is a no brainier and shows where you are going wrong. Thanks for your help. 👍

My game at taken a bit of a dive due to not playing over a wet period here in the UK. I watch this video on Monday evening and applied it Tuesday morning and it clearly connected everything together. Shot two over par for nine holes. The wall theme was noticeable when I didn’t apply it. Lost 15-20 % of penetration/distance. Thanks Craig. Very good

I focused on this last year after seeing a breakdown of tony finaus swing. I went from a 11 to an 8 handicap, this move definitely helped.

Make sense. Elbow away from your body will cause early flip of the trail arm and the outside-in move.

Okay, i first saw this video a month ago, man it was difficult at first, but slowly got the hang of it, not perfected yet, that won't happen overnight, but will say the sound of the clubface is different, as is the ball flight, lower more penetrating flight, and at least a club longer with my irons, still to master the driver though, seem to block or low hook sometimes, tomorrow I'll take this move on the course for the first time, as where I am in England my course runs next to the river on most holes on first nine, been very wet lately, only the back nine was open

I’ve found that creating good lag to me is the single hardest thing to do in the swing. I struggle with bad wrist flexibility. I do get good shaft lean and compression at impact, but for the life of me I cannot create these angles
shaft lean and lag are 2 different things
you don’t have to have heaps of lag to be a good player

What if you’re a right-handed golfer with an injured right wrist that doesn’t bend (permanently damaged cartilage)? Causes me to let go then re-grip the club towards the top.

Long time ago I took a lesson from a bad instructor who told me to practice with a head cover under my right arm. As a result of practicing like this I developed a horrible case of the shanks and had to go to a good instructor to correct my shanks. Why did this happen ?
im not sure what negative chain reaction that had on your swing back then or how you swung back then or how you swing now.
I do swing analysis lessons. But most people think they can do it themselves.
When they do get swing analysis they always comment they didn’t know that what i showed them was causing the problems in their swings
What about driver?
there where 2 driver clips in the video from Jack, Nicklaus and Rory McIlroy.
Its the same
its funny cuz all tips and tricks say never to slide your hips....BUT..every pro does it, yes they also rotate, but its not like there is zero slide. You start to rotate and at the same time move forward a bit. I think this is where some confusion starts
that’s because golf instruction is being taught by people who don’t know what they are taking about

What makes you think Adam Scott is a 0 handicap lol... he's a top tier professional golfer (probably a plus-6 or plus-7 handicap at least)

• Adam Scott is used on the left of screen as the perfect example!!! - He is used as the Perfect Example or the Yardstick so to say.
• The handicap Zero is the Amateur player. And is compared to Adam Scott…
Then i compare the swings to the zero. In case you missed the next part ehe swings got progressively worse.
