  • Apps! They are a very important part of our everyday lives. We communicate, pay bills, order food, and even track out health with apps!
    Obviously, they are a very important part of our lives. But most of us have no idea how they are made.
    So…how are apps made?
    Mobile apps at a high level are made from writing code. But besides writing tons of lines of code, there is a lot more that goes into their creation.
    First, before any code is written app designers will design the app. This includes figuring out the color scheme, the app icon design, and the overall app layout.
    Designers will plan out and design how each screen of the mobile app will look. They will also plan out the navigation of the app - figuring out how users will progress to different screens within the app by deciding which buttons when clicked will lead to which app screen.
    From this design, app creators can easily visualize not only how the app will look, but also see how users will interact with the mobile app.
    From this, developers can flush out any issues that might confuse users or miss lead them within the app. Saving a ton of time and money during the development process.
    Once the app is fully designed, developers can do what developers do best. Write code!
    There are multiple coding languages that can be used to develop mobile apps. If you choose to go the native route, you will need to write apps in java for android devices - and swift for iOS devices.
    You can also do cross platform development by using frameworks like React Native and Flutter. These frameworks allow you to write code one time using the same coding language. Once completed, you can then build and deploy the app to iOS and Android devices without having to write the code twice. Saving you half the time!
    Similarly, for mobile games you can use platforms such as Unity to achieve the same goal.
    Finally, once your app is developed, tested, and ready for users to use - you will need to deploy the app to Google Play and Apple App Stores.
    While this might seem like the end of the road for app creators, this is actually only the beginning!
    Now, app creators need to shift their focus to the most important part of app development. Getting people to download and use your app!
    This is no easy feat, but if you do a good job of designing and developing your app so that it gives the user the best user experience possible. Then getting people to download and use your app will be that much easier!
    If you have an app idea and still are not sure how to get started drop some of your questions in the comments section!

    I've got a great idea, but it would be a huge task. Unfortunately I'm a construction guy, building the infrastructure for high speed communication and internet, and I'm not going to be any good at using the internet to build something complicated using coding lol. I need help is what I'm getting at!

    Can You Create Apps in Random Programming Languages? Like C#, Haxe, Lisp, Dart and Rust?

    • @atsapllc

      Yes you can create apps in many different coding languages! We would recommend others or certain ones depending on what you intend on building

      We’d recommend that you start by planning out your app and figuring out all the features and screens it should have. We find that writing this down on paper is a great way to get started! What's the best programming language for building apps

    • @atsapllc
      @atsapllc  Před 2 měsíci +1

      It truly depends on what type of app you’d like to build. We suggest using a platform like react native for most apps. However, if you’re looking to build a mobile game, a platform like Unity might be better!

    I have what I think is a great idea for an app and it hasn't been built yet but I feel like it's probably on the cusp of coming out soon. Should trademark it or copyright before I begin?

    • @atsapllc
      @atsapllc  Před 2 lety +3

      Good question! Trademarking the name of the app, if you have one, is never a bad idea. But it is always good to have some competition in the market. So in our opinion, don’t stress to much about others having a similar idea. If you believe in your idea, then you should give it a try!

    • @ranjan_v
      @ranjan_v Před rokem +2

      there are companies that do reasearch and find out if your idea is worth patenting, if its original they will even connect you with people who will help you patent it. and they are reasonable and research is free, you only have to pay once you decide to get a patent.

    How much can I earn monthly from the the app that is build, if you can provide number?

    • @atsapllc
      @atsapllc  Před 11 měsíci

      It’s hard to say for sure, it truly depends on your business model. Is this app free to use? Will you charge a fee to download it? Will you charge a monthly subscription? We encourage you to think of an app as a business and pick a business model for it that works best for you.
