I think the designers found exactly the look that the client wanted. Even though these designs are older, they are still beautiful. I love sumptuous draperies. The ones used in this room are gorgeous.
Elegant style is timeless. It looks like 1950s Doris Day movie set. April in Paris. Hollywood Regency
This is easily one of the best that Sarah has done...ever.
I LOVE everything about the 2 rooms! So elegant, and STUNNING.
...this is one of my favorite up scaling....colors wonderful!.....and, the dining room ties in....
I like it. And it is good because as time passes the client can switch out curtains or change the wallpaper and still have a good basic structure. That's a good way to design a room for a client
"It's from the ch-ching dynasty." Pure Tommy. Love it. Beautiful rooms!
Client has great taste and achieved the right look with the aid of a great designer, Sara. The client wanted final approval on everything, how wise.
I love the way she says 'carte blanche' lol. Marjorie is hilarious and her style is what I'd absolutely have if I didn't have pets that shed!
I love the idea of using a piece of clothing to describe a client's taste.
When Design Inc. originally aired I tried to never miss an episode I loved this show so much, but looks like I did. Marjorie had me cracking up the entire time; she's a hoot! LOL
And Kate is so right: it IS easier to work/design for clients who have opinions.
Absolutely gorgeous and right on to the client's wishes
I just love Sarah's designs!
Design Inc knocked it out of the ballpark!
Sue here: so not me but I love love love it! The colors, (green!!!) the richness, the softness, the comfort, the beauty. I love Sarah Richardson's work (And the team members too...👍💕)
I love elegance in a home, i’am ready for you Sarah.
I didn’t like ANY of the choices from the beginning, but BOOM! It looks so good, it’s really incredible! It is really breathtaking.
I thought matchy matchy was out these days. But clients are thrilled. ., that’s what matters.
So lovely! I love the curiosity of the little guy. So cute. The rooms are great too! 😉
It was beige b4 and now it's ELEGANT beigy; you listened & gave the client what she wanted!
The house design without work was nice.
I love this !!! The colors are so beautiful even at this point in time. I need the courage to put a little wall paper up at my house to give it a little zip. When you started to show her your curtain ideas I thought it was too blah but you were spot on.
People, remember that these shows were made the better part of 20 years ago. Design and decor has evolved. Take that into consideration whe commenting.
True!!! But I have to say, I’m watching a lot of these old episodes and I am amazed at how much better SR designs have stood the test of time vs other designers. There are elements that are “of an era” sprinkled in here and there, but for the most part, so much of it would still look great today. She’s so amazing!!
It still looks great
@@amandavalpey1521 ... Totally AGREE!!! 🎉
This is divine!
✨💖✨What a lovely dichotomy. The rooms are elegant, yes, but comfortable, inviting. Morning coffee, afternoon tea, dinner, laughter... I love the color scheme. It is clean, pretty, but warm too-even cozy. And it suits the delightful owner! She is elegant and poised, but a quick wit, ready to laugh, and a devilish sense of humor. May she and her son build many happy memories here. I’ll be taking ideas from this Abode.
Gorgeous, loved the drapes, very feminine rooms
Breathtaking! You went above and beyond all expectations! Marjorie was also such a great client. Just Love both rooms.
Oh yezzzzzz fans, we are still in time for sharing new Christmas gifts suggestions for the beloved ones, a new home design might help a lot indeed, hoping the invisible web audience will get inspired some more, lovely sight, wish you all the best guys
This is exactly what I want my living room to be! Now I am in love with wallpaper again!
I would love a beautiful, serene, comfortable space like this in my house. Very lovely!
Gorgeous
Such timeless design... truly classic!
That space is gorgeous, to this day.
Sarah is an amazing talent.
Been a fan of SR from room service days. But white with kids?? I don't care how washable a fabric may be nobody wants to spend their day washing sofa covers. I didn't think I would like the wallpaper but it looked stunning the way it was styled.
Wow! Just wow! Love the end result! 😍😍😍
STUNNINGLY beautiful
I have watched a lot of your videos lately. This is the first one where I really got to see the design process with your team and with the client. I enjoyed that!
This decor is stunning. My only hesitancy would be how totally impractical so many white piece of upholstery are with a two year old boy. I doubt he was ever allowed to enter this room.
That’s about what I would do‼️Love the off white❤️
Absolutely beautiful!
Well done!
Looks great nice and girly but that what Sarah does best.
Absolutely Stunning! 💛
so retro lol love it
Super loving Adobe!! Where else can I find Sarah and her original programming but here! How about Sarah's House? Should we be expecting that in the future as well??
i just realized Majorie is a doctor on Cityline! they could have met on set!
So Talented!
Super gorgeous!
Beautiful; Love It
Bang on awesome design
Stunning rooms, I love your show!!
Glad you like it! thanks for following us😀
Hate it when they show the after shots at the beginning of a home decor show. I usually don't want to watch if I already know what it's going to look like.
Beautiful

I absolutely love your channel... you bring us the classics 😊
Glad you like them! What's your favourite show?
My favorite show is “Design Inc”(anything from Sarah Richardson) and “The Unsellables”. 😊
Messy curtains are eye sore and its has a heavy vibe to it like those in a theater ✌️🙂
thankfully Sarah's design style has morphed and matured over the years, eh?
I know accent walls, especially one wallpapered, are considered today to be so dated and boring but I still prefer today that the living room have an accent wall. This episode is at least 18 years old with the accent wall over the fireplace and it still looks beautiful years later.
well done !!!
Love it ❤❤❤
Wow! Looks gorgeous and luxurious.
Very cool tone! Did think the carpet under the dining table could be bigger.
One of my favorite designs of Sarah’s. My only critique is that there is too much furniture in the LR making it look cluttered.
Home looks like a million dollars wow wow wow
💋 Wonderful
The rooms are beautiful but I'm left feeling like I want some pops of contrast (maybe a deep terra cotta orange to balance out all of the matchy matchy tones.
Really beautiful, delicate and feminine...
I would have put a stair (round, two flight..) to go from the lving room to the dining room. Also, dissapear the hand rail, and replace it with a more architectural feature, like an open shelving, a low shelving, and a light view stair..
Gorge!
💞Gorgeous 💞
Glam!
wonderfull❤️❤️❤️
Love the design, but where do you put a glass in the LR.
Very Chic!❤❤congradulation!!
Chic? This is what means chic? I'm sorry for the lady spend her money....
The only thing I did not like are the drapes of the dining room. Too much, not airy enough. looks stuffed and smothers the small window. Looks as if it was taken down some place else and was a hand-me-down. Apart from that all is perfect.
The designer "I feel strongly about this wallpaper". Umm, shouldn't the client feel strongly about it since she's paying for it and living with it?
I don't understand why she never uses colorful rugs.
Does anyone know when this project was undertaken? X
Gracious elegant sophisticated and gorgeous. I hope Nathaniel isn't offended, he's not even welcome in this big big room. He's definitely going to do graffiti as a teen.
Nah graffiti is cool fr

L human right here.
Racially motivated?
Quite gaudy!
I miss flare jeans!
Carte Blanche must have more than one definition.
Hash browns
Realtors won’t ever tell you that wallpaper of any kind in a home is a good Idea. If you ever need to sell your home, that puts buyers off because it’s so much work removing it. The wall sconces with the real candles are Impractical as you will never actually light those candles. A wall sconce that has flameless candies would have been better because you could actually use them.
And now wall paper is coming back
It’s the old fashioned idea of a formal room that children can’t be in, strange choice for a couple with a little one.
You'd be surprised how common that idea is even today.
Are these videos from 2021 or 2006? People looks like they live in a year 2006, but interioirs are modern? What's with the bootcut jeans?
LOL. That's because 2006 was the year probably. These videos are almost 20 years old.
Don't like the wall paper
2 SHIMS...UGH!!
I don't like that I can't see a full screen view of your rooms 😮 so I'm not going to watch until that problem is fixed...
Too much furniture and the colors are too matchey matchey.Where is the pop of color?
Odd couple the remake.
I don’t care for the wallpaper‼️‼️‼️
Looks very old. Sorry not modern to me.
It was 'modern' for the time the show aired.
I can’t see and feel the modern design. sorry✌️
How freakin old is this video?
About 20 years old. Design Inc aired around 2002-2006 I believe.
They are gonna regret white furniture and carpeting with a small child. It will be stained within weeks. Sorry.
All I see is BEIGE...someone needs to call 1-800-NO BEIGE
