- Maxson Goh Films the progress of the Jurong Region Line Construction in January 2024. Being a fully overground line, there is a lot more to feature than just the stations. We take a look at the tracks between stations too!

5:32 I hate the misaligned pillars… triggering my OCD
True but they had no choice due to the lack of construction space but it still balances anyways…
U forgotten NTU area.
I am seriously concerned with the lack of privacy especially when the train is literally passing by homes at a distance of merely 6-8m. Reminds me of Marsiling station or BPLRT, which was poorly planned infrastructure.
Similarly, I will be disappointed if the line will have noise barriers along the tracks that obscure the view out of the window.
you are making two criticism that are contradicting with each other. noise barriers can act as both reduction of noise and a sense of privacy, which can help eliminate both of the problems you are mentioning about.
if you are having issues taking picture of the train, go to a higher hdb floor and find a spot.
if you are still concern with the privacy, then write an email to LTA and voice out your concerns.
@@wardennecro2840 You're right. I just wanted to point out that the line does have it's flaws especially since it is literally winding through dense suburbia. LTA has made this mistake before with the BPLRT by constructing it so close to residential areas that it is nearly impossible to not get disturbed by passing trains. Furthermore, this line is leaning more towards being a full fledged MRT line rather than LRT, so the noise generated may be louder than on BPLRT.
