A QUARTER MILLION VIEWS and counting. Not bad for something I put together in a fit of nostalgia one boring Saturday afternoon! I'm glad people are enjoying this so much.
U call this boring? I think Disney Afternoon brought us something special with these shows! Plus u really gave us the nostalgia feels, good job!🤩👍
@@rainbowtoyfunrandomess1982 He was bored when he made this, he's not calling the Disney Afternoon boring!
@@BestEdmontonMall I know that. But thank you for telling me.
@@rainbowtoyfunrandomess1982 welcome!
@@BestEdmontonMall What's your favorite Disney Afternoon Shows?
Such a dang shame that Disney doesn't take advantage of vast cartoon show catalog that they possess by giving us a CLASSIC DISNEY CHANNEL CARTOON CHANNEL,huh??
OMG I would actually watch a "Classic Cartoon" channel of just all the 90s cartoons. Some of the shows I would skip now though haha I dont think I can sit through any more Goof Troop or Gummy Bears.
I dont watch the Disney Channel at all and it's rare if I see a Disney movie... the last one I really actually liked was Wreck-It Ralph though.
Wreck It Ralph was a great and even a sweet heart of movie.I suppose I could relate to Sarah Silverman's character, she was a glitch and I was born a glitch of human by being a lesbian and at first not excepted by family and kids at school just like her character wasn't excepted by her cgi peers,I suppose??
Disney HAD a classic cartoon channel, it was called toon disney
Yeah but it was too soon and short lived and not as much love went into it.Maybe a DISNEY/NETFLIX type channel??
Sammy Lane
10 years wasn't too bad of a run for a channel
Man... The 90's were fucking amazing. We were definitely spoiled.
Ikr, Disney, Nickelodeon, and CN was top-tier during the 90s.
Aye
80s and 90s was the beat
@@JosephDutra That's a fact
Gummi bears,Ducktales and Chip and Dale were from the 80s
Disney Afternoon's were like walking into a sweet shop... Everyone had their favourites, but you couldn't go wrong with anything!
In that case, I should have lived in Europe, because Winnie the Pooh was part of the block in those regions only. But, if we're talking about America's version, then I kind of have a soft spot for Timon and Pumbaa, mostly because of the dialogue in each episode.
This is the best description of Disney cartoons EVER.
@@HillVillageDragon I miss Disney Afternoon
The good old days of my boyhood in the 90s. I’m glad that I’m an 80s and 90s kid. I wish that I had a DeLorean time machine and travel back to see how it was like back then.
I wish to rewind time while retaining my memories
same here
Same....from Sweden born 85 lucky to have been a 90s kid.
Now THESE were cartoons, straight from my childhood
Ya know? Looking back on it, these are all extremely well edited.
Yeah the artists & writers focused on good 'ol fun, adventure, and traditional morals. 😊 No pushing any certain idea.
Sure there were lessons on treating others kindly, but not making problems where there were none. 💛
Gummi Bears 1985
DuckTales 1987

It's just banger after banger after banger. We were so spoiled in the 90s.
I didn't really have the luxury to grow up with these cartoons very much, but Disney Plus has given me these gifts. I've especially loved the original DuckTales, TaleSpin, Rescue Rangers, and Darkwing Duck. Darkwing is by far my favorite of them all!
The sad thing is there all censored, so you don't get to experience the original airing versions of those shows.
My favorite one was bonkers because I was into cop toys at the time
I love that Ducktales 2017 implied that they share the same universe as all the other Disney Afternoon Shows or at least references it. So not only is the reboot is a love letter for fans of the original, but fans of other Disney Afternoon shows, too.
Let' Get Dangerous! - Darkwing Duck.
Exciting news! Disney has finally released several of the Disney Afternoon shows on DVD!!
Christopher Payne Bigger news Ducktales is returning in 2 years.
Christopher Payne But what about Timon & Pumbaa (my favorite of all)?
+TwilightLink77 and DW darkwing baby
+MisterSmiley91 Many Of Those Disney Afternoon Shows Are On Toon Disney!
I think if Disney could do a decent, but still as funny reboot of Bonkers, I would be happy
1. TaleSpin was criminally underrated.
2. I used to watch Timon&DumbPig show and imitated the way they ate bowls full of grubs. I mix crunchberries, gummy bears and worms, and colored marshmallows together.
Because it was colorful. I'm surprised I didn't get diabetes.

(rams headfirst into "YaowBucketHEAD")
TaleSpin is my personal favorite, and for some reason it's criminally underrated...
Tale Spin was good since it at least had some realism (except for the anthropomorphized animal characters obviously) without the magic, spiritism or general wackiness of the others
DUMB PIG, REALLY?! RUDE!!!
Talespin was my favorite of them all! I loved the 1940s aesthetic. Also, I wanted so bad to be friends with Kit Cloudkicker! He was so cool gliding behind the plane.
Bonkers was so underrated. I like the idea of toons and humans living together
Roger Rabbit and the new chip and Dale rescue rangers
@@figueroastudios841 There are others but some are not kid friendly.
Ah, the Disney Afternoon.
Remember those memories of those shows that you watched after elementary school back in the 80s and 90s.
DuckTales, Aladdin, Bonkers, Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, and many more.
I really love watching Bonkers way back when I was a kid. Bonkers is so cute and funny both at the same time. After all, Bonkers and Lucky Piquel do remind of so much of Roger Rabbit and Eddie Valiant from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Darkwing will ALWAYS be my favorite show to watch on Disney+
Me too
I used to watch the Belgian version of Disney Afternoon called "Disney Festival", which included also the Aladdin, Hercules and Little Mermaid animated series as well as The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Yes, I would like to press charges against the wave of nostalgia that just assaulted me.
R.I.P. Christine Cavanaugh (1963-2014) the voice of Gosalyn Mallard on Darkwing Duck, Dexter on Dexter's Laboratory and Babe in the movie Babe just to mention a few.
🙏🏼😭
Timon and Pumbaa are both hilarious in their own TV show. I love them both.
We still have this show collection in denmark, it's every friday at 7pm. It gets renewed every year with new cartoons and stuff from disney, still they speckle in older cartoons
Ahh the days before “adult obligations” and learning just how crappy life really is.
I just came here after seeing the chip and dale movie. Anyone else?
Who’s here after watching the Chip and Dale Rescue Ranger movie on Disney+?
The Disney Afternoon Collection!
I absolutely LOVE the Disney Afternoon.
I have the complete dvd boxset of:
- Gummi Bears
- Ducktales
- Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers
- Talespin
- Darkwing Duck
- Gargoyles
- Goof Troop
All of these shows were my childhood.
Don't forget Hercules

Brings back memories. I remember when these cartoons used to air in the morning before it was time for me go to school.
I am so ready for these shows to be on Disney+ and they are confirmed by Disney now
Too bad goof troop, bonkers, talespin and gargoyles are not on Disney plus in my country
I grew up with Disney cartoons. Each one has a place for me. Even the intro songs of the cartoons are very high quality. 80's and 90's were the heights of creativity. By the way, Gargoyles and Darwing Duck have always been my favorite cartoon series. :)
I enjoyed these shows while I was in college. Especially Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin, and Darkwing Duck. I do question one thing. Where are The Mighty Ducks? They were a part of the Disney Afternoon as well.
😏 I must've known the 1990's we're a golden age, I treasured it then when growing up and am SO thankful I grew up in that time. 😊❤️
I miss these wonderful cartoons. :(
Love it, thanks for posting. I miss good, wholesome, quality cartoons!!
Oh there's quality cartoons out there still but they're just are hidden behind crap cartoons that are around nowadays. Like My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic. And don't jump to conclusions it's as good as the cartoons of the late 80s and 90s. I wouldn't say that if it wasn't that good heck it was created by Lauren Faust the same person who did The Powerpuff Girls and Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends both are award winning cartoons for crying out loud and it's even got awards for the songs in the show because it's so good. Just keep an open mind with it because it's completely different from the other versions of My Little Pony. I even judged it before I watched it and it wasn't until last November when I gave it a try and I found out that I really liked it. The show is like the old my little pony cartoons but without humans and with decent pop culture references. Also they have great voice talent in the show like Tara Strong as Twilight Sparkle also they got John Delancey to voice Discord and yes the same guy who did Q from Star Trek. Also they had this last season Weird Al Yankovic voicing a character based on himself called Cheese Sandwich. So don't jump to conclusions until you see the show because it's actually really good which is sad because if there wasn't so many bad cartoons nowadays people like me might have been watching it longer than in reality. Also the other main voice talent are Tabatha St Germain as Rarity Andrea Libman as both Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie which is the shows main comic relief character and Laren Faust herself told them that for certain gags only Pinkie Pie can do them she obeys the laws of cartoon physics. Ashleigh Ball voice both Applejack and Rainbow Dash both are the tomboys of the main characters. And Cathy Weseluck voice Spike Twilight Sparkle's faithful assistant. Their relationship with each other are kinda like younger brother and older sister but really close. And Spike is a baby dragon by the way. There's other characters in the show but those are the main characters and they're good characters I really like them.
My favourite disney tv shows are Ducktales 2017 and Darkwing Duck! ❤️❤️😄😄
The performers of these themes went hard.
Man, what a time it was to be a kid when all this stuff was on.
Bonkers was originally supposed to have been a Who Framed Roger Rabbit spinoff but it got stuck in development hell for the better part of 5 years due to legal issues so they finally said fuck it and completely retooled it into what it became.
I so miss my childhood😁
Timon and pumbaa is going to be ALWAYS my favorite disney afternoon show off ALLL TIMMEE!!! BECAUSE The Lion King is my favorite disney movie and timon and pumbaa are my FAVORITE characters from the movie... and i hope they make a reboot
I always wondered why ducktales intro reminded me of the afternoons when I was a child, “as a kid I didn’t know about Disney afternoon”
My personal favorites
Goof troop
Darkwing duck
Ducktales
Bonkers
Timon and pumbaa
Talespin
The chip and dale movie brought me here
My childhood brought me here
My childhood right here!
I miss a lot Disney Arternoon Show and Also Saturday Morning Cartoon`s.
Me too the early 90s was awesome
Just glad they are all on Disney plus
Am so glad that the Disney afternoon collection video game used this song as the main theme 0:04
This is what disney is supposed to be ❤ this is what dreams are made of ❤
All these wonderful Disney Afternoon show sure does brings some of my happiest memories 💖 .
I was here for all of this but I somehow always forget Gummi Bears was, SOMEHOW, the first. It seems like DuckTales must have launched (no pun intended) the whole thing, with how groundbreaking and game-changing it was! But nope. A small-scale little mediaeval-themed show about talking bears who don’t solve mysteries or rewrite history or anything and have no decades old ties to other Disney IPs.
Nothing against it of course; Gusto is my man!
❤😂
I love all these Disney Afternoon Shows when I was a kid.
Had chills down my spine when watching this clip. Mixed emotions of happiness and sadness. Thanks for sharing! Nostalgia at its best.
The Disney Afternoon brought to you by McDonald's I'm Lovin' It.
All of these shows were excellent. Shoutout to anyone from Edmonton, Canada who grew up with Disney Afternoon on the TV on Saturdays.
Ah duck tales..good memories
I was a 90s kid growing up in Sweden and this was always running at Saturday afternoon.
I loved it we truly had the best cartoons.
Gummi Bears
DuckTales
Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers
Talespin
Darkwing Ducks
These 5 were my favorites but they were all great.
And dont even tell me about the other shows outside of Disney like the Original Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and those shows.
Childhood memories ❤
I remember watching most of these when they were originally on the air.
I remember all these cartoons when I was a kid. Thank you for bringing my childhood memories of Disney Afternoon
I really LOVE the Disney Afternoon! So much!
Damn these were such better days. I was one of those little black kids from harlem who didn't care they were all into this. This takes me back to better days. I miss waking up and seeing this when I would get home from school or my days off or even when I'd play hookey. This was the best.
I'm spending my entire day off ripping every single disney afternoon show for my disney afternoon collection in a usb drive. If im lucky I can find the complete series on internet archive without having to rip them one by one in hours.
Because my sister just cancelled her disney+ subscription and i'm creating my own disney afternoon collection!
I'm almost done! 👍
😂
This is great upload. I literally haven’t heard these in 25 years
Ducktales was one of my favorites growing up.
If you haven't lived in the 90s, you haven't lived at all.
still collecting the DVDs to this day
MrKing8050 i only have the dvds of duck tales and tale spin. I'm still searching for more of my childhood favorites ^^
@@firemiracle In my country they are so hard to find I want them all lol.
I feel like I just had nostalgia injected directly into my veins
i always liked this line "when there's trouble you, call D.W." ☺️
Ah the days where you could wish bad things on a villain voice actor or actress I mean I still do it and I mean it
The Disney Afternoon has aired syndicated on various network stations of Fox, independent channels, UPN, The WB and the original big 3 networks (ABC, NBC, and CBS).
Gargoyles looks like it could be considered Disney's answer to Batman The Animated Series.
I remember seeing "Timon & Pumbaa" as a kid
So do i. Along with house of mouse and goof troop.
I’m not going to lie. Gargoyles was a complete departure from the happy fun adventure tone of the other cartoons. I would always skip it when I was a child because it always changed my mood and killed my happy vibe.
I grew up with three of these cartoons that where probably reruns, chip and Dale rescues rangers, timone and pumba, and lastly...goof troop,2001..the good year to be born in
In Denmark we have something called "disney sjov"(disney fun) and its basically disney afternoon, other than the fact that we still have it
I'll have to go back and watch Gargoyles again, one of the few I haven't seen since it was on the air
Childhood Memories.
Glad to see these on Disney+
they still broadcast these on danish tv every friday at 7
Sweet! The only video I know of on CZcams with a decent quality [i.e. in stereo] version of the Bonkers theme.
God, so much nostalgia.
Adventures of Gummi Bears is a cute show.
Oh man, so much nostalgia!!
Ouch, right in the childhood
Tailspin was so cool, sky pirates trying to shoot them down with actually machine guns. That would never "fly" these days lol
Darkwing wins 1st place in theme song ranking, no contest.
This takes be back to good time in my life
Darkwing Duck and Goof Troop are my favorites!!!
There was a CD/Cassette from back in the day that had songs from the Disney Afternoon. Extended theme songs and other tunes from the shows. Listened to it all the time as a kid.
my childhood...good memories
Dang beautiful memories 🥲
"Let's Get Dangerous".
I rest my case
Gargoyles was my show in the afternoons!!
To me Goof Troop was the best but that's just my opinion the show was awesome and the music was just so good lol
True
Theme song maybe topped all these, but the show was lackluster.
I wish disney had a channel that was sinilair to boomerang where they would just show all their old shows and even have the disney afternoon song play on weekdays around 4 or 5
The 90s was the extreme era just the over all best cartoons best wrestling greats series. If we do live in the matrix let me reset everything....
Awe!!!! I remember all of these
