I have literally cut and colored my own hair for at least five years. I get so many compliments even when I think I’ve done a bad job. It’s just hair. Live your best hair life!

Just popping in here to give you a pro tip about curling hair: place a comb between your skin and the curling iron before rolling it all the way to the base of the curl. This will prevent skin burns. Hope this helps!

Just grow it out, it's a lot more satisfying and kinda easier (in the sense of styling). Short trendy hair tends to also be high maintence, especially if your hair is prone to frizz.
AOkayT I mean, my long (only really bra strap length rn) hair is a HUUUUUGE pain and the shorter my hair’s been the easier. So YMMV, especially if your hair is curly like mine.
@@aokayt9517 I'll have to agree to disagree there, had a pixie cut for about 3.5 years after having hair halfway down my back for many years (had a chin length bob in the middle there too) and for me personally, a pixie cut is soooo much easier to maintain. Still have this eternal struggle of wanting flowing locks with which to style a million ways though!
I cut my hair and regretted it! You can do so much more with long hair!

It basically means art from the 1800s that was influenced by a fantasy medieval style, along with the bucking of current art dogma. Also refers to a specific group of painters who spearheaded the movement.

I was feeling very sad and disillusioned with the majority of the world so I randomly started watching this video and just scrolling through all your old videos and it made me feel a lot better. Your whole demeanor is always so comforting and I’ve loved watching you grow for the past couple years. Thanks for doing the things you love.

Love the texture to your hair. I’ve got bone-straight/ perfect for the 70’s kibbutz id hair. It does not do curl.
I havr a suggestion to try for you if youd like. Lightly dampen your hair, very lightly. Then spray on a sugar/honey and water mix (dont worry its not sticky or crunchy after it dries its just like very nice set hold hair spray, and nice because its not matte). Spray that on before you braid your hair. English braid, the less and larger the braids the more wavy, and the more and smaller the braids your hair will be more kinky curly.
Sleep on it or wait until it is totally dry, take it out and viola! Hopefully that should stay better in fine straight hair, and is still easy and quick to do. Looks great for updos.
I’ve got curls and tbh ppl hype them up a lot. So much work, and there are a bunch of “rules” I’ve got to follow to keep them from freaking out. I was always super jealous of my mom and her family’s straight shiny hair. Also spent way too much time having my hair yanked out because my mom and grandma would try to style my hair like it was straight.
Jellybeansbud mine is naturally curling, and I’m dying of happiness.
Jellybeansbud i also have bone straight hair that will only hold a curl when I use setting lotion and curlers (or a headband) overnight

Ouch on the burn! A small tip to help avoid that, take a comb and put it against your forehead between you and the curling iron. It will act as a buffer and allow for a nice, tight to the head without sizzling your flesh ..curl!

So I literally cut my horrible “quarantine “ hair last month for Lizzie Bennet / Evie Carnahan bangs without seeing this video , and was regretting it until I saw this. I can style it this way! My hair curls drastically so I’ve been having hairs poking me in the eyes and you have shown me the light!!!!
