Wow WoS !!! Nice. I loved that WRS Prelude, although I couldn't figure out what it meant until a few notes in! I'm really enjoying the light show as well. I'm a little bit annoyed with myself, however, I wished I'd saved a hit of windowpane or two. I wonder if it would've still been good fifty years down the road?
Any chemists out there to answer our man's question?
@peace love They weren't always as easy to split 🪓 as advertised. My friend, Jeff Hitz and I had a similar dilemma at S.P.A.C. (the Saratoga Performing Arts Center) on what I'm 🤔💬🤔 thinking was June 18, 1983. It's really hard to believe that in just a little more than two months, that show will be 40 years in the rear-view mirror. It was an excellent show, fantastic really. I'm sure the ergot based enhancement didn't hurt, but it was a fabulous show. We took our time exiting, and the drive back home 🏡 to the city (NYC); northeastern Queens specifically was delightful.

lsd25 can 100% stay potent if stored and "vaulted " the right way. owsley made sure his lsd would never die for example and the vault gets opened when instructed, whoever is in charge of his estate i assume.
All the grace of a B movie pickup line
I've never met a Dark Star I didn't love. Same for living things.😂
50 years ago we were in high gear during spring maneuvers ~ peace and love to y'all ~ orange sunshine me please ~ thank you for letting me join your beautiful family of heavenly ❤️ music ~ Ha'ho
I tried that in Spain and all I got was a number two.
If you see Mr. Natural send him home. Its been a long time coming.
🎩▫️take this Brother, may it serve you well
My last time seeing the Dead in the East . Amazing music that night. One of the rowdiest crowds I ever experienced in 25 years of seeing the Dead.
Love
You know its good when one can remember exactly how the cassete cover looked, whos handwriting, what art. Blessings to you all this Easter weekend
The music of the universe.
I had boxes of tapes most of them with hand-drawn art. I didn't keep them but at least I gave them to a friend
@@franksantorelli4196 me too. Kept 12 out of 250
@@franksantorelli4196 Then you did the right thing, Sir!!!
@@bradchun21 So 238 went on to give thousands; probably millions of hours of listening pleasure and enlightenment to those who otherwise possibly wouldn't have had the opportunity!!! It's a fantastically, fabulously altruistic thing to do!!! Well done, Sir!!!
Said my prayers , took a nap - and awoke to this beauty.
I'm digging the light show as well. What an excellent dark ⭐
I didn’t come along until 1980 but lemme tell you, I have more of a connection with this stuff then I ever will with todays so-called “music”
Still some great music out there. King Gizzard is a personal favorite
@@2112CO yes loving the creative spirit of the Gizzard. JGB with Melvin n John K. Is pretty legit these days too. Enjoy
"Shall we go, you and I while we can through the transitive nightfall of diamonds?"👥🌌💎(~);} 🤙♥️💀⚡🌹🎶✌️ Mahalo, Wall of Sound, I'd love to hear the rest of the show!!!
Beautiful intro, I had just turned 4 years old. I ended up going to around 75 shows, mostly in New York. Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts , Maine, Vermont, Wisconsin, California, Kentucky, and, Ohio.
One of five WRS Preludes performed before the entire suite debuted that September.♥
Very astutely observed. The last WRS prelude performed by itself was 4/2 in Boston. Then it was shelved for 5 months until the whole suite was performed in it’s entirety at Nassau Coliseum on 9/8. Ironically enough, Let it Grow was performed solo the night before 9/7. 🐊 🥀 ✌️
Sweet, crisp and tasty. Thank you Wall!! Looking forward to hearing where this one takes me.... cheers!!
How sweet it is to be LOVED by you!! ❤W.O.S.❤ blessings to you, your family and everyone else reading this. Peace and love to all of you.✌️❤️✌️❤️✌️❤️✌️❤️✌️❤️✌️❤️✌️❤️

HOLY F. i'm a 68-71 DarkStar dude but post-verse may be the most psychedelic thing i've ever heard them create
Lot of memories! I was with members of a future band called ONE.
We somehow were hanging out with Phil & Keith before the show. Some good stories for another time! One story! I was jamming with our base player. Phil told us we should get a band together. We did! That was ONE: THANK YOU! For this great tape. Ps.We where jamming in our Hotel room. Only minutes away from the concert.
Hey Doug...that was actually the 6.30.74 Springfield show you were referring to.
@randyberge766 Wow! You must have a tape! Hi Randy! Have any ONE tapes
@@randyberge766 Randy? Was that the great Springfield show many talk about?

You are a public servant sir
What an amazing sequence of music
Wow! Thanks, WoS.
Thanks for sharing. ❤
This is one of my fave sequences. Having the whole band in on the WRS intro is just sweet as can be, then my favorite Dead tunes in a row?? I love it. Thank you for posting!!
"That's the stuff."
Great show, amazing art.
Gosh this one’s a killer. Thankyou so much xxx ❤
I always planned to record Winamp visualization trippiness this way
ECELLENT VIDEO !!

Awesome!!!!!
Once again, great recording!!!!
Had been listening to this show literally all week. So killer.
Hey Doug..!! That Springfield show we were hanging with Phil & Keith was actually 6/30/74. I've still got some pictures, which I'll post on Lossless on the anniversary this June! Great to hear from you!
The prelude to WRS is sublime genius. Thanks WoS.
Stay strong everyone, stay grateful, stay true.
🦍 Happy Easter.

WWJD?
@@larrydaiell What Would Jerry Do, is how I'm reading that.
@@johnnyprovo7157 That does make sense. I was so overwhelmed by the music and that lovely light show, I wasn't thinking straight. Also, no windowpane! I'm a firm believer in the concept of "state-dependent learning"!
this was the day jerry was busted on the NJ turnpike glad he made it to springfield after all!
Powerful!
Billy K at his best ❤
oh this is sweet...
Very, very Niiiiiiiiiiice ✌️😎
Beautiful Prelude
Thank you !!!! The graphics are well synced.
Keith is amazing on the Stronger Than Dirt transition to PITB.
I love how high he is in the mix here
I love WRS but can see why they just started playing Let it grow in 76. Beautiful transition into Dark Star 🌑 here. Man Phil Zone is in total effect and just Billy on drums so jazzy. N.F.A 65-95!!!
I saw them do WRS, including Let It Grow, in 1973.
thanks for the upload 🤙🤙
Awesome well worth the wait
Something ELSE
I wish the drums were louder on these old tapes.
Is this Tom Constatine on keys?
