Their technical names are great bass and contrabass recorders, in case you were curious!
You would not believe the amount of air it takes to move a single note. In one concert I had not eaten lunch. After the set was over the bass player had to catch me because I almost fell over.
Whenever I'm having a tough day, I listen to this beautiful rendition and both my heart and mind are filled with joy and peace. Thank you for such a gift! 🎼🎶💕🥹
I have two vinyls of the Art of Fugue, performed by a chamber orchestra. The effect is very similar.

I never thought of what is the right hand in the original Cembalo score as a Duett. Can't unhear it now. Beautiful! You play so well together that one could think that one is actually listening to one single musician playing a beautiful organ with wooden pipes. But of course the phrases are articulated with such beautiful sounds which only individual instruments can achieve.

This is brilliant and fascinating - these ladies are also super cool. As for the telegraph pole on screen left… “Well little Jenny, we’ve decided to get you music lessons for your 5th birthday, so you may grow up to be an accomplished musician one day… so, what do you like; guitar, flute, violin, piano? Oh, and obviously it needs to be something that easy to transport!”
Wow! The bass and contrabass recorders add such a sweet depth to the sound- so gentle and subtle, yet it makes all the difference in the color of this piece. Wonderfully executed and thoroughly enjoyable to listen to and watch

Those are great bass, contrabass and sub contrabass recorders, there's no bass recorder there
Sadly the 3 lowest register recorders are nearly inaudible on my inexpensive mono smartphone.

Oh my god so beautiful..i am learning this on my flute, but rythmically it is soo hard i cant count in this piece the 3/4 its so hard but its so beautiful and the way you play it is amazing, it s so different from piano! My mum is a piano teacher but she s never played the goldberg variations

Das Arrangement ist ganz traumhaft und hätte Bach sicher gefallen. So sanft, gerade in dieser schon an sich sanften Aria. Es gibt auch ein Arrangement für klassische Gitarre, was auch sehr sanft und schön ist.
