I’m thinking about picking this up I’m worried about the length of the body and the sleeves. I hear the sleeves are super long and tight around the arm and the length is pretty short. What is your opinion on these issues?
I did see that somewhere, might have been the IH forum. The length seems very slightly less than my XXL IHSH-293-OD, but not enough for it to be a concern or change my size. Now on the subject of the arms being too constricting I don't feel that, but if I did, it does feel like this fabric will stretch whereas a denim probably wouldn't. Generally on IH shirts I wear an XL and for the CPOs I size up to XXL that approch seems to have worked for me so far.
There is no Sashiko in here. This is a dobby cloth. Sashiko is a type of re-inforcement stitching using patterns. To the best of my knowlegde, there is no such thing as Sashiko fabric. Beautiful CPO!!! And I entirely agree with you: CPO are just top.

Thanks dude, yeah I agree, I kind of live in my 293. This is a nice change of pace tho, especially in the warmer months
I should have gotten the CPO version of this shirt. The sleeves on mine are super tight compared to my other work shirts from iron heart.
I did notice that in the work shirts.... it's possible they'll stretch a little more maybe because of the fabric? Tryna see the silver lining here.

The black one definitely. It goes with more, I wear it all the time. This is good for something different that's a little lighter.
