This is especially apt for you Africans who had ancestors brought over as slaves. God sees and when I hear this, I know you Africans everywhere should take heart. God used Elvis to reach many types of people, the happy and the sad. But Churches who have choirs or congregations singing like this, reach almost everybody. Know God is real.
The Lord took his hand, still miss Elvis, he was a giant amonst men. When pepole called him the King,, he replied "there is only one King, Jesus Christ".
Elvis was able to pull Jesus into your heart like no other. He could touch anyone with his sincerity.

"Theres something about Elvis Presley gospel". I can tell you one reason is because he was a christian. He stayed true to our Lord in spite of his life he lead. When he sang gospel songs it really was from his heart.

I know exactly how you feel .😊believe me💖 He has that effect on people. It goes right Into your heart. I started collecting his records when I was a teenager,although I was born a little to late. But his songs always made me feel better ,and he had a song for every mood. Everyday after School ,I looked forward to come home and listen to his voice. And before school I had to have my dose.😂he kept me sain during those school years that I hated. I collected everything I could get my hands on and decorated my room with his pictures. If I had pain , it disappeared in an instant, while I was glued to the record player.

People (45 years after he's gone) still call Elvis King of Rock'n roll, but he did not like that, he considerd that the only King was God, but I consider him to be the King of Music, but what do you think, is he good enough to be called a Music King?

There are some videos of when Elvis joking and messing up, he loved to joke around and pretend that he did not have control, but he had total control, he acctually conducted his musicans and back up choirs all the time !!

Elvis is also in almost every genre of Music Hall of Fame (5 that I'm sure of), no one else is in more then perhaps 2.

Then imagen you are a singer, you have great musicans, you have great backup singers, no Guest Artists, no Autotune, no Lipsinging and no Fireworks, now all is about your skill, could you handle that pressure?
That is what Elvis did in over 1000 concerts, despite having problems with his health, like his Glaucoma, the headlights must have hurt his eyes like crazy...
He sang over 700 songs, I wonder how he could remember them all, he never vrote a song himself, so he had to remember other peoples songs, well that in it self is amazing in it self...
By the way he had Glucomea and that must have been difficult being in the headlights all the time, that could be why he sometimes closes his eyes, but also sometimes squinting !!
Elvis suits was made of 100% Polyester, or 100 cotton (I'm not sure witch one), it was originally a karate suit, it was very light, but it was hot, so it made him sweat a lot, he got some bad press about that, but if you give it all then you will sweat, it should be positive, right?
