Another illegal word is "Mayday" in certain contexts. By saying Mayday on VHF Radio or other aeronautical or maritime frequency allocation without the station being in a state of distress, the station will be subject to permanent revocation or radio license and radio operator privileges, will be held liable for a criminal fine of up to $250000, up to 6 years in prison, or both and remuneration for expenses incurred during the rescue operation. These can exceed a million dollars in extensive operations. That means you would need to pay up to 2 million and then maybe also serve 6 years in prison, all for a word spoken on the radio.

Intent is the key to convicting someone for something they said. Law enforcement must prove malicious intent behind the words, which is damn hard to do without physical evidence(E.G. a written plan).

The "Fire in a crowded theater" thing is often cited as an example because of its use in a Supreme Court case, Schenck vs. U.S. What they don't realize is that the case upheld a conviction of someone for distributing leaflets criticizing the draft in WWI and it has since been overturned. There's no legal precedent to hold that that one word even in that situation is necessarily illegal, HOWEVER, the article you cited does provide one of the rare instances where it can be. Basically, you can shout fire in a crowded theater as much as you want as long as you don't ACTUALLY cause a stampede.

Around New Years a wonderful radio show Coast to Coast with Art Bell had callers make predictions for the next year. The only prediction which was not permitted was about the death of the president because when such predictions were made the Secret Service would investigate, interview Bell, and ask for show records, a hassle Bell preferred to avoid.
